RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for duties related to the onboarding of new employees into the organization. The Administrative Support Specialist ensures the timely completion of pre-employment related documents and medical requirements and provides candidate support related to onboarding with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Must have a positive demeanor, be a team player, and show initiative.

  • Provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Delivery Team by collecting and processing candidate documents
  • Sends, receives, and verifies the completeness and accuracy of all pre-employment documentation, e.g., W-9, W-4, Direct Deposit, and Emergency Contact Data
  • Maintains files and documentation
  • Consistently demonstrates the highest standard of professionalism and integrity in situations involving minimal guidance and supervision
  • Audits pre-employment documentation, ensuring all fields are complete and contain signatures where required
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working U.S. Government contracts preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
