Aviation Manager shall be responsible for administering the Contractor provided airfield facilities. The Aviation Manager is responsible for the daily execution and successful operation of Airfield Facilities Services in Manila on this Base Operation Support contract in the Philippines.

  • Safe arrival, taxing and departure of aircraft in support of the air operations mission
  • Aviation fuel operations are conducted in a safe manner and abiding by TO 00-25-172, NFPA 407 and Mil Std 3004A
  • Provide support and submission of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and Visual Flight Rules (VFR) flight plans
  • Timely access to weather planning information sufficient to support effective mission execution.
  • Aircraft ground support equipment and personnel
  • FOD prevention program and FOD walks are accomplished
  • Aircraft marshalling, towing and wing walkers
  • Passenger terminal and cargo handling
  • Must be flexible with work hours
  • Other duties as assigned


  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Management or Engineering; relevant work experience may be substituted for education
  • Five (5) years of experience in aviation operations and experience demonstrating a broad knowledge of the following, aircraft safety and airfield management
  • Prior Airfield Manager preferred
