Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Concur Expense Processor and Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of employee expense claims and ensures adherence with company policy and compliance. Will work with the Sr. Manager of Travel & Expense as an administrator, to ensure best practices and processes are being maintained and implemented. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and review all company expense reports for accuracy ensuring adherence to compliance & company policy
  • Knowledge of Concur SAE file for preprocessing
  • Responds to employee inquiries related to expense process and policies using the company’s internal helpdesk
  • Monitors outstanding credit card transactions in Concur and ensures expense reports are submitted in a timely manner
  • Works with Managers and employees to ensure timely submittal of expense reports
  • Manages orphaned transactions in Concur and assigns them to the appropriate employee for expense processing
  • Knowledge of Sponsored Guest in Concur for expense reports
  • Expense Administration functions in Concur, including audit rules, managing policies, expense types, group configurations, etc.
  • Concur Intelligence Reporting, able to run, setup and modify reports as needed by various departments
  • Creating help desk tickets in Concur
  • Assist with companywide training sessions for Concur

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in Accounting or Business preferred
  • 2-5 years of accounting or expense management experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge required
  • SAP Concur Expense experience required
  • Strong computer skills are required, including MS Office Suite and Internet skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Very high attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvements
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

 WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
