RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as primary liaison in coordinating and managing labor and employee setup data and structure with HR, Project Controls, Finance, IT, Labor Relations, and contract teams.

Responsible as key interface and control point between Deltek Costpoint and multiple functional and project stakeholders for employee and labor data management. Leads and provides guidance to peers with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain and manage accurate and compliant standards, procedures, and systems.

  • Setup, maintain, and manage project labor categories, pay groups, pay types, employee classes, and timesheet cycles in Deltek Costpoint for existing and new projects
  • Provide oversight, support, and guidance for key peripheral systems including Deltek T&E, Info Work Force Management, and Deltek Costpoint
  • Works closely with contract teams and Labor Relations to identify and accommodate contract (client) specific and Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements in all key systems
  • Works with Project Setup and Project Controls to establish and maintain project workforce
  • Manage key labor system inputs for both enterprise and contract employees, including holiday schedules, leave, and other contractually mandated requirements
  • Provide best-practices guidance in working with enterprise, functions, and contract teams to maintain efficient and appropriate data architecture within Deltek Costpoint parameters
  • Produce related policies, procedures, tools, and training to streamline and optimize labor-related inputs and maintenance
  • Monitor changing requirements in labor laws, Collective Bargaining Agreements, contract requirements, and Constellis enterprise policies to proactively address all needed system adjustments
  • Work with IT to develop system reporting and control points to monitor compliance
  • Work with IT to streamline and automate related processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, IT, or similar area of study
  • 7 years of experience in labor data management role with deep systems interaction.
    • Experience could come from a combination of HRIS/Benefits/Payroll related roles.
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint to include pay group/pay types setup, employee setup, workforce setup, project setup
  • Knowledge of government contract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials and Cost Reimbursable
  • Experience with large contracts that have multiple employee types, including SCA positions
  • Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements, state-specific labor laws
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel is essential
  • Ability to interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals across the organization
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented dedicated individual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to engage key functional stakeholders to facilitate appropriate and compliant system inputs

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday
