Job Description



The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting in support of our North America Operations (NAO) Business Unit at Constellis. The position will be based in our Herndon, VA office on a Hybrid work schedule (2+ days a week in office for interview days and hiring events).



  • Provide support to multiple positions and manage a high volume of candidates simultaneously
  • Provide complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position
  • Screen and evaluate applicants work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to obtain best match for position
  • Update the candidate flow in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in accordance with company and OFCCP guidance
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, program managers, and the business development team to develop custom recruiting strategies
  • Utilize social media, job fairs, networking events, and various recruiting methods to attract potential candidates
  • Manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Provide weekly performance metrics
  • Send, receive, and verify the completeness and accuracy of all documentation pertaining to new hires
  • Assemble new hire packets for orientation
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions
  • Audit personnel documents
  • Update electronic files and databases 
  • Answer candidate/new hire questions, answer incoming calls, provide information on routine inquiries, and take messages and forward callers as appropriate
  • May perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
  • Size applicants for new uniforms, place uniform orders and issue out uniforms
  • Maintain required files and documentation, data backups, and confidentiality of records
  • Ensure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately and securely


  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 0-2 Years of Recruiting Experience (recruiting candidates possessing Secret level through TS/SCI with poly clearances desired)
  • Strong experience in use of Social Media
  • Marketing experience desired
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and fluid recruiting environment
  • Familiarity with military language and understanding military records
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to quickly understand position requirements
  • Able to work independently or within a team
  • High proficiency with MS Office applications

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. 




May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
