Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting in support of our North America Operations (NAO) Business Unit at Constellis.  The position will be Hybrid reporting to Herndon, VA on in office days.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support to multiple positions and manage a high volume of candidates simultaneously
  • Provides complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position
  • Screens and evaluates applicants work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to obtain best match for position
  • Updates the candidate flow in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in accordance with company and OFCCP guidance
  • Collaborates with hiring managers, program managers, and the business development team to develop custom recruiting strategies
  • Utilizes social media, job fairs, networking events, and various recruiting methods to attract potential candidates
  • Manages competing priorities simultaneously
  • Provides weekly performance metrics
  • Sends, receives, and verifies the completeness and accuracy of all documentation pertaining to new hires
  • Assembles new hire packets for orientation
  • Facilitates new hire orientation sessions
  • Audits personnel documents
  • Updates electronic files and databases 
  • Answers candidate/new hire questions, answers incoming calls, provides information on routine inquiries, and takes messages and forwards callers as appropriate
  • May perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
  • Sizes applicants for new uniforms, place uniform orders and issue out uniforms
  • Maintains required files and documentation, data backups, and confidentiality of records
  • Ensures documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately and securely
  • Other duties as assigned

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required and Associate’s or Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • 0-2 Years of Recruiting Experience
  • Strong experience in use of Social Media
  • Marketing experience desired
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and fluid recruiting environment.
  • Familiarity with military language and understanding military records.
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Able to quickly understand position requirements.
  • Able to work independently or within a team.
  • High proficiency with MS Office applications.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
