Job Description


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Monitor and control portal alarms, invalid badges, hot badges, and confiscate expired, invalid, non-working badges;
  • determine the status of visitor badges and clearances in collaboration with Badge Office, Visitor Access Control, and Area Security Officers;
  • Assist interagency visitors with entry and Community Badge Readers; issue and retrieve visitor, temporary, and special badges;
  • Direct visitors to proper destinations;
  • input visitors into the Sponsor’s visitor database;
  • Help employees complete visitor access requests;
  • Ability to respond to medical emergencies as a first responder;
  • Assist in the evacuation of building and relocate personnel to safety zones;
  • Secure building, and coordinate proper response with SOC.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • Minimum of 18 years of age;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Read, speak and understand English language fluently;
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Current TS/SCI clearance preferred.
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving record checks;
  • Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid/AED;
  • Successfully complete a security interview screening;
  • Must be able to pass US Government background investigation for required security clearance and polygraph;
  • Must be approved by the client to work at the site.
