Potable Water Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring all Potable Water produced under this Contract complies with all Contract guidelines and standards for Potable Water including but not limited to Chapter 3, Drinking Water, of the DoD 4715.5-G, OEBGD and the Philippines National Standard for Drinking Water (PNSDW; 2007 or latest) on this Base Operation Support contract in the Philippines

  • Manages the daily operation of the portable water infrastructure systems and operation and ensuring potable water is continuous to laundry, galley, showers, latrine facilities and other facilities
  • Manage the water treatment, storage and distribution ensuring Potable Water and ice complies with Chapter Three of the latest DoD Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD)
  • Ensure testing, sampling, lab, preventative maintenance and correct maintenance is completed for all Potable Water systems
  • Assist facility maintenance personnel on Potable water system such as pumps, pressure/storage tanks, backflow and other potable water equipment
  • Provide monthly Potable Water Generation, Distribution and Usage Reports
  • Manage the bottled water program and ensure proper delivery per required locations
  • Must be flexible with work hours
  • Other duties as assigned


  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • U.S. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and at least have a Grade IV Water Operator License
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Industrial, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, or other related engineering and scientific field(s)
  • Five (5) years of experience in water treatment plant design and construction, water treatment processes, implementation and compliance of U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act and OEBGD criteria, and providing water operator training
