RESPONSIBILITIES

The Reporting Manager, FP&A works closely with various departments to generate and manage quality control reports, exception reporting, management reports, status reports and system assessment reports as well as various data requests. The Reporting Manager will also maintain the integrity and operating efficiency of Deltek Cost Point, Cognos Reports as well as IBM Planning Analytics (formerly TM1).

  • Generate and manage quality control reports, exception reporting, management reports, status reports and system assessment reports
  • Comply with, systemize and validate data requests from various departments.
  • Update and create reports in Cognos, TM1, and other finance systems.
  • Conduct training on TM1 and other systems to users.
  • Maintain a Business Intelligence strategy and toolset for the FP&A Team and manage the relationship with IT to ensure best in class tools and processes
  • Maintain the integrity and operating efficiency of Deltek Cost Point, Cognos Reports as well as IBM Planning Analytics (formerly TM1)
  • Contribute to and create financial reports for both internal and external customers including Compliance, Tax, Program Control, and our Private Equity Owners
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Management or another related field is required
  • Seven or more years of experience in Government Contracting as a financial/business analyst or related capacity required
  • Working knowledge of Costpoint accounting system and Cognos TM1 reporting package is required
  • Public Accounting firm experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports and the ability to effectively present information to senior management to include quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Must have high-level interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Self-directed and highly motivated, with the decisiveness and flexibility necessary to operate successfully in a changing, rapid-growth, and hands-on environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
