BL-Academi JV, LLC seeks Opposition Forces (OPFOR) and Role Players with prior military and/or law enforcement experience from all ethnicities, ages and genders. Candidates shall have prior experience using military small arms (weapon systems such as M4, M9, Glock19, M870, AK47, etc.) and must be authorized to possess a firearm in accordance with 18 USC 922. Additionally, candidates shall participate in various practical training scenarios involving use of explosives, pyrotechnics, blank firing weapons, paint ball weapons and other simunitions weapons during various training programs. OPFOR and Role players must also be capable of providing these services in remote training areas of JBMDL and may only have access to limited infrastructure; i.e. no running water, no toilets (porta potty only) no climate controlled environment (HVAC), etc. Candidates shall also have prior experience with the use, maintenance, and operations of military assault rifles and small arms.




  • Serves as members of Opposition Forces (OPFOR) or Role Player during military training exercises. Candidates must have prior experience utilizing military small arms (M4 5.56mm rifle, M9 pistol, Glock 19, AK47 rifle, etc.) and should also know how to disassemble and clean all weapon systems.
  • Integrate into military or civilian scenarios using real military weapons, and equipment performing the duties of foreigners, merchants, rioters, protestors, laborers, third country nationals, severely- injured personnel, displaced persons, refugees, dignitaries, merchants, rioters, protestors, laborers, third country nationals, etc.
  • Participate in weapons handling and operation training when required: Rifle, Pistol, Blanks and Dye-Marking Cartridges and ensures all weapons are properly cleaned and maintained to the USAF EOS armory standards and returned upon completion of duty.
  • Follows EOS Fieldcraft instructor and other cadre training instructions and adheres to all practical training scenarios and role player scenario inputs to elicit specific student responses.
  • Have Foreign Language Speakers capable of portraying civilians, government officials, religious leaders, tribal elders, interpreters, etc., from partner nations, as required. The required language and quantity will be specified on the Task Order. No more than 10 foreign language speakers required for the duration of each exercise.
  • Prior military experience in deployed combat environments including permissive and non-permissive operating environments (strongly desired) such as; Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Freedoms Sentinel (OFS), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation New Dawn (OND) and the Islamic State Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



  • Prior military experience (strongly desired) in deployed combat environments including permissive and non-permissive operating environments such as; Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Freedoms Sentinel (OFS), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation New Dawn (OND) and the Islamic State Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR).
  • Ability to pass a background check (criminal, civil and financial) and the ability to legally possess a firearm in accordance with 18 USC 922 (Lautenberg Amendment)
  • Prior experience in supporting military tactical training while utilizing various training weapons while serving as enemy forces utilizing various enemy, tactics, techniques and procedures against EOS Fieldcraft students; ability to follow a training script, scenario card or general training guidance from EOS Instructors
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization; previous instructor certification course highly desired
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process and ability to closely monitor student safety during high-risk training operations involving the use of explosives.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and to provide continued, uninterrupted support to assigned projects, clients and/or programs.

Work is based in a busy training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. In addition to work in a classroom setting, frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold, and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by established Company Safety standards and USAF client requirements Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 6:00PM, however some extended night, weekend or holiday hours are required, and work schedule will vary. Candidates will be required to possess a valid current driver’s license and will be assigned to support training at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst (JBMDL) near Camden, New Jersey.


Must be physically capable of lifting and carry 50 lbs. unassisted and running 500 feet (not simultaneously). Requires standing for long periods of time in all weather conditions. Requires intermittent sitting, walking, running, climbing, squatting, stretching, bending and kneeling. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
