Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing complex duties supporting the effective management of HRIS data. This role is also responsible for auditing employee setup and maintaining data integrity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes employee related data and records through HRIS databases
  • Coordinates and implement complex updates to HRIS databases
  • Processes all employment data changes
  • Responsible for monitoring and assigning support on ADP transactions
  • Audit all transactions notices before submitting for upload
  • Performs QA/QC checks regularly by verifying information in all HRIS systems to ensure accuracy
  • Maintains and updates electronic employee data records
  • Sends out new hire notifications
  • Escalates any non-compliance issues to supervisor
  • Reconciling leave accruals and discrepancies
  • Processes and monitors Unemployment Claims for efficiency, compliance and timeliness
  • Completes all employment verifications as well as OPM investigations
  • Responds to email inquiries in HR Leave inbox
  • Process Motor Vehicle report requests
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of HRIS data entry or data management experience
  • Ability to develop and run standard reports
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of human resources administration
  • ADP experience highly desired
  • CostPoint experience highly desired

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
