POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs administrative and office support activities in a busy office environment. Duties will include answering telephone calls, receiving, and directing visitors, data processing, creating detailed spreadsheets and presentations, tracking certification dates for 140+ employees, and filing. Extensive software skills are required along with strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detail-oriented tasks, within strict time constraints, to maintain accurate payroll and personnel records.
- Conduct quality control checks of all payroll entries weekly and initiate personnel related employee changes including, but not limited to, pay and tax status, life event, benefit, direct deposit, etc.
- Enter purchase requisitions and work to ensure requested equipment or services are delivered in a timely manner.
- Complete monthly invoices exceeding $1 million and provide data backups for submission to the federal government.
- Create highly accurate, detailed spreadsheets and word documents to meet deliverable requirements.
- Provide Administrative support to the Contract Manager and Training Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position will require the selected applicant to obtain a public trust suitability adjudication.
- Minimum three years of direct experience in administrative and or payroll functions within the past ten years.
- Highly proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
- Must be a self-starter and work well with little direct supervision.
- Must be organized and be highly detail oriented.
- Ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute.
- Ability to interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and remain focused on the overall mission under stressful situations.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports and invoices.
- Preferred Experience: Valiant scheduling, Deltek, Costpoint, and SAP Concur experience.

POSITION SUMMARY
Staff armed security posts and provide security for the personnel and property of, and visitors to, assigned US Government Property. May also work in a Control Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be familiar with all state requirements and with the local jurisdictional criteria for Protective Security Officers.
- Not inclusive – Man post in accordance with government Post Orders.
- Perform vehicular searches to detect unauthorized material and prevent its access into the building.
- Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
- Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post, which may be a threat to the property, client, or employees at the site.
- Report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies.
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats, and alarms, such as fire and intrusion, by following emergency response proceedings.
- Physically control violent or unruly crowds.
- Attempt to subdue person in case of life and death situation.
- Operating a motor vehicle if on applicable post.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident who has served in the US armed forces.
- At least 21 years of age
- Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possess at least ONE of the following:
- 3 years of armed security experience
- 2 years of US military experience, with an honorable discharge
- 1 year of law enforcement experience with a full-service, US police department
- Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Shall be able to speak read, write and understand English.
- Meet all contract requirements, including medical, drug screening, psychological, background check, training, and FPS suitability.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Business work hours are 24/7 and weekend availability is required.
- Work is typically based in a busy environment and subject to frequent interruptions.
