Automotive Painter

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Auto Painter will be responsible for refinishing damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely
  • Remove rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface
  • Mask and protect parts that are not to be painted or coated
  • Fill cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface
  • Mix paint according to specifications
  • Select and mix coating liquid to produce desired color
  • Paint surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate
  • Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas
  • Maintain tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair
  • Keep work area clean
  • Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
  • Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management
  • Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
  • Understand, keep abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Must have 5 years of work related experience (1 year of technical training may be included)
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must have the following Certifications:
    • Painting and Refinishing Certification for Collision Repair
    • I-CAR
  •  May require possession of one or more ASE Certifications
    • Painting and Refinishing (ASE B2) preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Registered Nurse (Team Lead)

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for guiding, monitoring and leading an entire group of clinicians, patient administrators and logistics personnel aboard a Customs Border and Protection Agency (CBP) facility to support vaccination operations. Position also is responsible for screening, triaging, and administering COVID-19 & Flu vaccinations, and providing first aid and/or emergency medical treatment, as required, to personnel receiving COVID-19 Vaccination shot. The position will also collect and enter patient data into the provided information system in an accurate and expeditious manner. They will also be responsible for maintaining and tracking electronic records and logs.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Maintains collaborative efforts with Customs and Border Patrol leadership personnel to ensure the success of operations.
• Collaborates with staff members, and Customs and Border Patrol leadership team, in the planning, implementation, and delivery of process improvement projects.
• Build strong partnerships with local agencies (e.g., health department (vaccination and epidemiology departments), border binational infectious disease prevention program, migrant shelters, state, and city legislators, etc.
• Provide continuing education opportunities and trainings to enhance current skills and knowledge.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to help develop strategies on how to ensure migrants’ equitable access to covid-19 and other vaccines.
• Maintains working knowledge of all job roles on site from screening to documentation, with the ability to perform duties as needed.
• Supervise operations at multiple sites.
• Develop and manage schedules for a team of multidisciplinary staff members.
• Attend operational meetings twice a month.
• Assist with managing personnel conflicts and disciplinary actions within the team.
• Initiate standards of practice at each site, to ensure teamwork and uniformity among the staff.
• Oversee any logistical needs: supplies, inventory, etc.
• Delegate tasks amongst team members with maintaining efficiency and clinic productivity.
• Train new onboarding employees to perform their job duties and learn new skills.
• Implements recommendations outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) storage and handling toolkit designated for vaccine clinics.
• Maintain inventory management and accountability of vaccine clinic stock supply.
• Completes daily reports of operational throughput, vaccine waste, and inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS   

• Understand the current CDC Guidelines on vaccine administration/management and each manufacturer’s instructions specific to their COVID-19 vaccines.

Armed Security Guard – CBP

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Guard enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security, exercises judgment and uses discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determining whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keep situation under control or surveillance, or to report incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling.  Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting controlled areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Escort of detainees in custody while present at medical treatment facilities, courtrooms, detention facilities, and any other guard services
  • Serves detainees prepared meals as required or directed

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a law enforcement officer, corrections officer, or military police officer, a period of active-duty military experience (with holding an honorable discharge), or six months of experience as a security officer engaged in functions relating to detaining civil or administrative detainees.

  • Understands and upholds the Rules of Personal Conduct and contractual agreements. Ensures that officers follow order of contractual agreements.
  • Conduct post and officer inspections ensuring officers have appropriate uniform and equipment, and are following all policies, procedures, and post orders.
  • Provide coherent written reports documenting site inspections, disciplinary actions, and incident investigations.
  • Demonstrate capability in managing multiple tasks as well as demonstrate capability in delegating tasks to officers when appropriate.
  • Ensure each Patrol Officer completes their required patrols.
  • Ensure all Security Officers complete the paperwork related to their Posts.
  • Ensure all Security Officers attendance is documented by utilizing the site specific access control systems.
  • Must be available 24/7 including holidays unless otherwise specified or time off was approved.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Social Security Card
  • Minimum two (2) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military law enforcement/security, or commercial/industrial guard services) of five (5) employees or more
  • Possess at least one of the following experience/education criteria:
    • Minimum two (2) years armed security experience
    • Served minimum two (2) years in the U.S. Armed Services (including reserve or national guard),
    • Any combination of two (2) years’ experience in physical security and service with the U.S. Armed Services
    • Associates Degree in Security or Law Enforcement related field,
    • Successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy; Knowledge of the General Orders, Special Orders, Do Not Admits and VIPS
  • Possessed BSIS Guard Card
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and reporting writing skills
  • Training skills to develop personnel, understand and perpetuate succession planning (Mentoring) and demonstrate leadership
  • Ability to counsel and discipline in effective manner in both negative and positive situations
  • Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in personnel and communicate corrective solutions

Automotive Technician II

POSITION SUMMARY

The Automotive Technician II repairs, overhauls and maintains fleet vehicles and equipment.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform skilled repair and maintenance on a variety of gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles such as replacing bearings, axle seals, brake master cylinders, resurfacing brake drums and rotors
  • Disassemble components, inspect part for wear
  • Repair, overhaul, replace and rebuild water and fuel pumps, air conditioning components, compressors, radiators, etc.
  • Rewire electrical systems
  • Replace, realign and adjust brakes and suspension components
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions to all systems
  • Overhaul gasoline and diesel engines
  • Tune and perform repairs to diesel engines
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic systems; routes and replaces lies, and checks system for leaks
  • Perform routine vehicle equipment preventative maintenance inspections; checking and replacing fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, and replaces exhaust system components

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/Technical training in automotive repair with 3 years of automotive repair experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • May require possession of a Commercial Driver’s License (A, B or C with specific endorsements may be required)
  • May require possession of one or more ASE Certifications
  • ASE Master Automotive Technician and/or Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy service center/maintenance garage environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by established Company Safety Standards. Normal work hours are in  Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may also be required.

Fresno Rate of Pay: $24.60/hr plus additional $4.90/hr in Health and Welfare 

Bakersfield Rate of Pay: $27.88/ hr plus additional $5.50/hr in Health and Welfare

Responsibilities

  • Provide security for various buildings by conducting perimeter security, internal security, monitoring screens, etc.
  • Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
  • Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors
  • Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors
  • Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
  • Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols
  • Traffic control as necessary
