POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Supervisor manages communications with the staff, liaison to onsite customer and serves as lead for the contractor during the assigned shift. The Site Supervisor directs, coordinates and oversees all activities of the on-site security staff, including all supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post, in accordance with post orders and client instructions, and following all internal procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise an Armed/Unarmed work force of up to 60+ individuals.
- Supervision, management, security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance.
- Responsible for direction of the workforce for the shift, including authority to assign work, holdovers and authorize overtime.
- Counsel/discipline employees related to performance/conduct issues, including authority to immediately suspend serious violations and effectively recommend termination.
- Provide on-the-job training and access training to new personnel.
- Distribute, collect, and review bi-weekly timesheets.
- Complete daily inspections for officers to meet the compliance standards.
- Keep project management informed on all project issues while ensuring two-way communication.
- Track uniforms and equipment issuances; maintain inventory and update officer records.
- Mentor junior officers in career path opportunities and provide incentives to support employee growth and retention.
- Track various contract data as assigned.
