Human Resources Business Partner

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Human Resources Business Partner will be providing support for personnel working in Kuwait for one of our U.S Government contracts. The ideal candidate will contribute with both hands-on and strategic support of our people managers through performance management and workplace conflict issues to cultivate an innovative, high-performing, and inclusive culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong assessment of different types of risk and bring creative and effective ideas and solutions.

 

This position is located in Kuwait. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Employee Relations support, thought partnership, and coaching for all employees and levels of management in the organization
  • Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Lead employee relations casework, identify potential solutions to address different case types and actions appropriately using guidelines
  • Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs, highlighting key trends in employee relations to actively drive proactive solutions to minimize reactive work
  • Help balance risk, considering employee, business, and company perspectives
  • Help design and facilitate Manager Training based on data analysis
  • Integrate and partner with CONUS HR, Operations and Legal departments to implement solutions
  • Stay abreast on local (Kuwait) employment laws, issues, and alerts to support the workforce effectively
  • Conduct HR orientation for newly deployed personnel
  • Conduct out-processing with exiting employees
  • Ensure completion of HR related administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position is required to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance, for which US Citizenship is required.
  • Must have a valid US drivers license and satisfactory driver record, and ability to obtain a local license
  • Must have a valid US Passport
  • Travel to local job sites as directed
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or applicable field preferred
  • Six years of HR Generalist or Business Partner experience with strong emphasis on multi-nationality workforce, geographically dispersed sites, and austere environments.
  • SPHR / PHR / GPHR Certification a plus
  • Experience working with multi-national or global organizations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process

WORKING CONDITIONS

Court Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

 

A Court Security Officer (CSO) is a specialized security position providing protective services at or around United State Federal Court Houses or other areas as assigned under a contract to the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS). CSO’s in this classification generally provide security services under some limited supervision from a Lead CSO and the District Supervisor who reports to the Contract Manager (CM).

 

The CSO position is able to perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines and protocols. Duties may include work in austere and uncomfortable conditions for prolonged periods of time, including periods of inclement weather, while performing walking, standing, searching, and surveillance or sitting duties essential to the performance of the security functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Shall enforce the District’s entry and identification system.
  • Test and Report Emergency Equipment
  • Patrol court facilities and grounds of the facility in accordance with applicable post orders.
  • Shall man USMS authorized stationary posts.
  • Shall provide focused surveillance on incoming traffic to entrances from inside or outside the facility in order to detect oncoming threats before reaching the screening area.
  • May provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, jurors, and other designated individuals.
  • Provide security services for off-site and remote judicial functions where access to the site can be controlled and public screening conducted.
  • Where applicable, shall direct traffic, control lights on court facility properties, and monitor vehicles and pedestrians as described in the post orders.
  • May occasionally be assigned to provide courtroom security during hearings.
  • Shall provide security presence in the courtroom, enforce federal law and judicial orders within the courthouse,
  • Shall turn over any articles found in a court facility or designated facility to the COR and complete a CSO-003 within 24 hours after the incident occurs.
  • Keep supervisors and managers informed of unusual occurrences and important events as detailed in post orders, rules, regulations, guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitor alarms, radio traffic and other information sources. Dispatch or inform others as needed and authorized.
  • Report and appropriately address fire alarms, burglary alarms, requests for assistance and criminal acts;
  • Stop, screen, inquire, and inspect vehicles and pedestrians entering and / or exiting the facility as directed by post orders, rules, regulations, guidelines and protocols.
  • Properly use equipment issued or available for use.
  • Prevent passage of prohibited articles onto or off client facility.
  • Escort individuals or vehicles in accordance with post orders, rules, regulations, guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain all necessary licensing, certifications, training and records for legal employment for the Security Guard position;
  • Use portable radios, phones or other communication devises appropriately and according to established rules.
  • Monitor all equipment; guard against loss or damage; report any such loss or damage immediately to a supervisor or manager.
  • Perform necessary work regardless of weather conditions.
  • Log in Property Pass numbers for authorized property/equipment movements.
  • Ensure the security of government property, detaining personnel using the mantrap when needed, and reporting anyone involved with unauthorized property/equipment removal.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings and facilities
  • Issue required badges or passes to authorized personnel.
  • Monitor electronic access control and report violations
  • Monitor radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems and respond to alarms indicating unauthorized removal of government property.
  • Grant access to areas during non-working hours to authorized personnel in accordance with the established procedure and access lists.
  • Monitor facility equipment and utility systems and report deficiencies to personnel responsible for repairs.
  • Perform random surveillance of buildings for the detection of unauthorized or inappropriate activity.
  • Perform random surveillance of fence line for breaches and the detection of unauthorized removal of government property, illegal or inappropriate activity.
  • Provide additional security support for scheduled events that may occur during or after duty hours or for unscheduled emergencies as requested by supervisor
  • Maintain activity logs and administrative documents as required by contract.
  • Contact, assist, and cooperate with local, state or federal law enforcement; locate, retain and protect necessary evidence; testify as necessary in judicial and administrative proceedings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable civilian law enforcement experience OR an equivalent Law Enforcement position with the United States Armed Forces (military). The experience must include general arrest authority. All three (3) years shall have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  • Must have successfully completed or graduated from a certified Federal, state, county, local or military law enforcement training academy or program that provided instruction on the use of police powers in an armed capacity while dealing with the public. The certificate shall be recognized by a Federal, state, county, local or military authority, and provide evidence that an individual is eligible for employment as a law enforcement officer.
  • Must submit to and successfully complete pre-placement screening and evaluation, which includes submission to a criminal background check, financial institutions/credit bureau check, and disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background screen, drug test and physical exam.
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyeglass wear) state driver’s license.
  • Fluently read, speak, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
  • Must be able to meet medical/physical fitness requirements.
  • Must be free from conviction of any felony.
  • Be free from conviction of any misdemeanor crime of domestic violence in accordance with United States Code Title 18 U.S.C. § 922 (g)(9) Unlawful acts.

Armed Protective Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide security for the personnel, property and visitors of Dallas County Courts and Tax Offices.

PAY TRANSPARENCY/ COMPENSATION:

  • $21.00 per hour

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is typically based in a busy indoor environment or outdoor parking garage environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours consists of shifts Monday-Friday from 6:50am to 4:00pm 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 4:00 pm to midnight or midnight to 8:00 am with weekends open for some overtime. There is also a four day shift 6:00pm-6:00am with two hours overtime included weekly.

Training Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides instruction for Firearms and Tactics courses utilizing prescribed curriculum
  • Updates course curriculum as directed by Senior Instructor and/or Management staff
  • Lead Instructs/Assistant Instructor for all Core Curriculum Courses and all Contracted Courses
  • Teaches customized training courses
  • Conducts mobile training
  • Explains and demonstrates use of apparatus and equipment
  • Evaluates the abilities of individual participants to determine suitable corrective or remedial training
  • Maintains overall safety and organization of the training environment
  • Ensures safety of students. Communicates and oversees compliance with company policy, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Ensures accountability for all training equipment
  • Identifies in a timely manner training requirements needed to maintain required certifications and company standards, and completes all required continuing education and refresher training programs
  • Completes any additional training and/or certifications required by the government or the contract
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Minimum of six years of experience in a teaching environment
  • 20 Years of Law Enforcement Experience as a Criminal Investigator required
  • At least 10 years of experience in Active Shooter Response instruction
  • Must be able to pass background investigation, physical, drug, and psychological screening, and have no legal disqualifiers to possess firearms
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience developing lesson plans preferred
  • Experience as an Instructor in an armed security environment preferred

Captain

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position is under the direct supervision of the Contract Manager for assigned duties of the Security Department and

is responsible for the supervision of the Security Supervisors and the Security Protective Security Officers (PSOs) in

Dallas, TX. The Captain must be able to successfully interact with all Centerra personnel, clients and all visitors.

 

 

Qualifications:

  •  Three (3) years of experience in law enforcement, military or security in the last five years.
  •  A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military     service law enforcement or commercial/industrial security force service).
  •  Prior experience on an FPS security contract
  •  Ability to pass a contract required medical and drug screen.
  •  Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
  •  Must be at least 21 years of age.
  •  High school diploma or equivalent required.
  •  Highly proficient with a computer to include Microsoft Office software.
  •  Must have a good working knowledge of security operations and safety practices in a business environment.
  •  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and the public; to prepare, understand, and follow standard operating procedures; to perform duties in a professional manner; to write and investigate required reports; to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures and to maintain all contract required credentials.

 

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for the day to day security operations.

     Assist the Contract Manager with supervising the security operations.

  •  Responsible for providing direct oversight and supervision of subordinate supervisors and security officers.

  •  Assist in the development and implementation of efficient security schedules specifically designed to ensure all

    sites/posts are covered and operational by a trained security officer.

  •  Enforce company policies and procedures relating to security and ensures that all breaches of security and

    policy are properly reported.

  •  Ensure all requirements are enforced relative to the contract guard responsibilities, as stipulated in the Statement of Work. · Prepare and conduct performance evaluations of security officers and subordinate supervisors. · Ensure personnel are properly uniformed and present a neat and professional appearance as referenced in the National Protective Security Officer Training Program (NPSOTP) · Ensure PSO’s are thoroughly knowledgeable of their duties and demonstrate the ability to act effectively during emergencies and other unusual situations.

  •  Inspect PSO’s to ensure they possess all necessary permits and credentials as required by the contract, state and local law. · Ensure that all supervisors and PSO’s are knowledgeable of, and understand the post orders.

  •  Ensure overtime is kept to a minimum, foresees staffing needs and reports personnel issues to the Contract Manager.

  •  Assist the Contract Manager in the hiring process, to include the review of resumes and the interview process. · Initiate all clearance packages for assigned personnel. · Administrative duties to include, but not limited to: scheduling, writing memos, issuing commendations and/or disciplinary letters, reconciling daily hours worked, filling out training certificates/exhibits, maintaining inventories and completing monthly reports for the Contract Manager. · Perform other work-related duties as may be assigned by the Contract Manager

Unarmed Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Staff unarmed security posts and provide security for the personnel and property of, and visitors to, assigned government property in the area of Dallas county.

Sergeant

POSITION SUMMARY 

Serves as a First line supervisor monitoring and directing staff as necessary and perform administrative tasks including timekeeping, and report tracking. Provides close first line supervision of personnel/security officers assigned to their respective shifts, functions, and facilities. In case of after-hours emergency situations, the Supervisor on duty responds and take initial command until higher authority arrives.  They are empowered with the authority necessary to handle emergency events. 

 

 COMPENSATION/PAY TRANSPARENCY

$23.00/hr

 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Provide operation oversite at the service desks, mail room, street entries, and loading docks. 
  • Assist with scheduling including overtime approvals, callouts, and personal time off requests 
  • Take immediate action to correct deficiencies and solve problems, 
  • Identify and resolve day-to-day staffing shortages caused by call offs, 
  • Ensure breaks and relief are provided, 
  • Ensure Fire Life safety responsibilities are performed 
  • Provide verbal counseling and initiate written disciplinary actions as necessary, 
  • Provide direct oversight and close supervision of the security officers assigned to their respective areas, functions and facilities 
  • Setting an example for subordinates in the areas of appearance, work habits, skill and attitude. 
  • Ensure that regulations and post orders are followed. 
  • Perform appraisal and analysis of work accomplishments for subordinates. 
  • Review all reports for completeness and accuracy. 
  • Ensure officers follow all work rules, maintain and display good discipline, and present a professional appearance by conducting random, unannounced personnel and post inspections 
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned 

 

QUALIFATIONS 

  • 2 years of full-time security supervision experience. 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States or Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age. 
  • Must have a Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individuals name and social security number.
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Certification for CPR/AED/1st Aid

Subject to high noise levels include gun fire, hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat, extreme cold or exposure to chemicals. 

  

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS 

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk around indoor and outdoor perimeter of buildings,  parking garages and on uneven terrain. Must meet all physical and psychological standards as required by the contract. Must be physically capable of standing a 12-hour post. Travel to various posts may be required.
