Site Manager

Must be proficient in English and German

POSITION SUMMARY

Site Manager will supervise 1 of the 25 U.S. Government installations or facilities that employ Contract Security Guards to apply the instructions provided at each specific guard post, ensuring only properly vetted persons are permitted access unescorted to U.S. Government installations and facilities. The Site Manager supervises Guard Supervisors and Contract Security Guards. The Site Manager ensures that all guard posts and patrols are adequately manned and that guard personnel are properly equipped and fit for duty and possess adequate knowledge of their duties and responsibilities, changes in the guard mission, threat conditions, and other pertinent information affection the guard mission.

 

LOCATION

Multiple locations throughout Germany

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise up to 150 or more armed guards per shift at each installation or facilities
  • Responsible for conducting post inspections of all CSG post during each shift and logging any discrepancies in the post or CSGs performance
  • Ensure that each site is operated in compliance with post orders and that CSGs meet all contractual training and host nation requirements for armed guards
  • Schedule guard shifts, training evolutions, and respond to Site COR request
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years’ experience in security, law enforcement administration in the Armed Forces, civilian police, or commercial security agencies
  • German Industrie-und Handelskammer IHK) certificate
  • German Waffenamt training certificate
  • Must be able to communicate in English and German to the degree that they understand oral and written communications and express themselves in matters pertaining to their work (i.e. reporting of emergency situations) in person or by telephone/radio communications, to their management, the Site COR, and military authorities
  • Must provide a “Doctor’s Statement”, signed & dated by their Physician (in both English & German), that states the Site Manager can take the Physical Ability Test (PAT), is free of any communicable disease; is in good general health without physical or mental defects or abnormalities that would interfere with the performance of contractual duties; possesses binocular vision (i.e. see in both eyes) correctable to 20/30; is free of color blindness; is capable of hearing ordinary conversation at 15 feet (4.5m) with either ear, without the benefit of a hearing aid.  The “Doctor’s Statement” must also state whether the employee will be medically capable of performing duties wearing a protective vest
  • Must be qualified and trained to perform access control duties and shall possess all required certifications
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must obtain an International Driver’s License (IDL) within 90 days of hire

Project Manager

Must be proficient in English and German

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager will be responsible for effectively managing the security operations across 25 sites located in Germany, and managing the daily security operations of over 1,800 armed security professionals in accordance with US and German laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the central point of contact with the US Army Contracting Officer, COR and Site CORs
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Centerra on all contract matters relating to daily project operation
  • Responsible for ensuring all personnel maintain contract compliance with German Labor Law, US Army Regulations, Contractual Training Requirements, and completing contract deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years managing federal contracts exceeding $250 million dollars
  • Military or law enforcement experience at the 0-4 (Major) or equivalent civilian law enforcement rank, with experience administering a security program more than 1,000 personnel located across multiple geographically dispersed facilities
  • Must meet the medical requirements of the contract and pass a U.S. Army Physical Ability Test (PAT)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must obtain an International Driver’s License (IDL) within 90 days of hire
  • Must have completed the German Industrie-Und Handelskammer (IHK) training/certification program
  • Must be familiar with German Waffenamt training requirements for carrying and storing weapons
  • Must be familiar with US Military regulations and German National Laws
  • 2+ years managing Armed Security Guard Contracts in Germany, preferred
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience working overseas in security management operations
  • Master’s Degree, preferred
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred

Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) Manager

Must be proficient in English and German

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The EDD Manager will be responsible for managing the training and certification of 30 Explosive Detector Dog (EDD) teams at 25 U.S. Government installations and facilities across Germany. The EDD Manager ensures that EDD Teams perform planned and Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAM) searches at installation Access Control Points (ACPs). The EDD Manager will coordinate with the Military Working Dog Detachment Sergeant (Kennel Master) to provide EDD care and maintenance of the kennel facilities in accordance with the requirements of Army Regulation 190-12, Army Pamphlet 190-12, Army in Europe 190-12, and ATP 3-39.34 to develop, evaluate, monitor, and evaluate the Centerra EDD training and certification program.

 

LOCATION

Multiple locations throughout Germany

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be subject matter expert for EDD services under this project, and support the Project Manager in the administration, training, and reporting of all EDD teams
  • Responsible for ensuring all German Compliance with providing commercial trained dogs and maintain the required Animal and Explosives Permits
  • Coordinate EDD needs and care with U.S. Army, Military Working Dog Detachment Sergeant (Kennel Master).
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Six (6) years prior experience as a senior military or civilian working dog handler or four (4) years of experience as a kennel master or two (2) years of experience as a working dog program manager
  • German Industrie-und Handelskammer (IHK) certificate
  • German Waffenamt training certificate

Area Manager will supervise regions supporting 1 or more U.S. Government installations or facilities that employ Contract Security Guards to apply the instructions provided at each specific guard post, ensuring only properly vetted persons are permitted access unescorted to U.S. Government installations and facilities.

 

LOCATION

Multiple locations throughout Germany

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Other duties as assigned
