Sr Armament Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Armament Technician will assist with managing activities and personnel engaged in maintenance and repair of field artillery (M109’s, M1A2’s, breech maintenance, borescopes, Recoil exercise, 120mm mortars, M242 chain gun M2A3, and armament systems for the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 (APS-2) contract.

 

WORK LOCATION

Mannheim, Germany

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform field and sustainment maintenance on artillery

  • Responsible for the direct and general support maintenance; include the CROWS, Remote Weapons Station (RWS), M777A2 Howitzer, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars

  • Responsible for the Cleaning, Inspecting, Servicing, Repairing, Disposition, Evacuation and Movement of all Weapons in support of APS-2

  • Determine serviceability of weapons, sub-assemblies and parts

  • Diagnose and determine remedies for failures commonly encountered in the repair of systems using a variety of diagnostic techniques and TMDE with little or no supervision

  • Mount and dismount turret and vehicle mounted weapons as required

  • Safely uses common hand tools and shop equipment effectively without assistance

  • May instruct other employees in proper repair maintenance procedures

  • Will be required to maintain accurate, computer-based records

  • Required to conduct and/or receive cross training as directed

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience in military small arms and heavy ordnance repair required
  • 1 year of leadership experience required
  • Military experience preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Formal training (Completion of US Army MOS 45K/USMC 2111 or NATO military organization equivalent course or civilian equivalent 
  • Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) preferred 
  • Experience using the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Unique Logistics Support Applications (TULSA) and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion

Sr Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Track

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Track will perform organizational, intermediate level maintenance/modifications on military equipment such as: M1A2 tanks, M2A2/M3A3 Bradley fighting vehicles, M109 A6/7 Howitzers, M88A2, ABV assault vehicles; sub-systems, support equipment such as mine plows, rollers, and other related items. Will also be working on the Light tracks M113 Family of vehicles.

 

WORK LOCATION

Mannheim, Germany

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform skilled repair and maintenance on a variety of gasoline-powered and diesel equipment and vehicles, such as fire apparatus and vehicles, loaders, cranes, crawlers, dub grinders, bucket trucks, pavers, rollers, sweepers, and others
  • Replace bearings, axles seats, brake master cylinders, resurfacing brake drums/rotors, etc.
  • Dissemble components, inspects part for wear
  • Repair, overhaul, replace, and rebuild water and fuel pumps, air conditioning components, compressors, radiators, etc.
  • Rewire electrical systems
  • Replace, realign, and adjust brakes and suspension components
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions to all systems
  • Overhaul gasoline and diesel engines
  • Tune and perform repairs to diesel engines
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic systems; routes and replaces lies, and checks system for leaks
  • Perform routine vehicle equipment preventative maintenance inspections; checking and replacing fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, and replaces exhaust system components
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • MOS 91H or equivalent, preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a mechanic is required
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Will be required to obtain a military driver’s license (OF 346)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization

Guard/ESS Operator – TS/SCI with CI Poly

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Provides security services to U.S. Department of Defense installations located OCONUS. Ensures all tasks, such as entry control, towers, patrols, vehicle and personnel searches and bag screening are conducted in accordance with the contract. Provides updates and status reports; writes spot reports and incident reports, as necessary.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure guard post is properly manned, monitors performance of assigned work/duty space
  • Provide static installation access control, static perimeter security, roving security patrols, intrusion detection system monitoring to include ESS
  • Monitor IDS/ACS Alarm systems and various other security related devices within and around an ECP
  • Professionally interface with the client and maintain professional posture for entirety of shift
  • Report all alarm discrepancies or security violations immediately to leadership
  • Adhere to DoD policies and procedures on safeguarding classified information, personnel access control, communications security and technical security
  • Maintain all relevant computer accounts and accesses in support of the project
  • Conduct inspections of work-related equipment and informs leadership of any deficiencies
  • Ensure that all post and general orders and procedures are followed, as well as special instructions or information
  • Communicate with Guard Shift Leader and Operations Center to provide reports and report incidents and emergencies
  • Adhere to and actively supports company policies, procedures and standards
  • Maintain annual refresher training and physical fitness requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience during the past 5 years performing law enforcement or facility/installation security services for a government agency, the armed forces, the civilian police or a commercial security agency
  • Must meet all general requirements of the contract including age requirement; must be between 20-55 years old at time of hire
  • Must attend company provided training, qualify and be a certified as a trained security guard
  • Physically capable of performing assigned guard duties
  • Able to successfully complete a physical fitness test consisting of performing a 1-mile run in under 10 minutes, 20 pushups in 2 minutes, and 25 sit-ups in 2 minutes all within one session not to exceed 90 minutes
  • Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military) if applicable
  • Must have a High School Diploma or higher-level proof of education
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Shall possess an active U.S. Top Secret-SCI Clearance level. (must undergo CI Polygraph once job is accepted, and prior to working)

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work, including walking, running, standing, pulling, and pushing in wet, icy, or muddy areas. Perform physical demanding work in both hot and cold atmosphere conditions while wearing duty equipment and PPE. The work may also be intermittently inside and outside. Inspector – Track

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inspector – Track will Inspect track vehicles in the fleet to include M2A3, M3A3, M1A2, M109, M113, M577, M1068, M1064, M992, and M88A2 to ensure these vehicles pass all Army maintenance standards and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect vehicles or other equipment for evidence of abuse, damage, or mechanical malfunction
  • Inspect vehicles or equipment to ensure compliance with rules, standards, or regulations
  • Inspect repairs to transportation vehicles or equipment to ensure that repair work was performed properly.
  • Identify modifications to engines, fuel systems, emissions control equipment, or other vehicle systems to determine the impact of modifications on inspection procedures or conclusions
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of five (5) years recent experience inspecting or performing maintenance on the following track vehicles: M2A3, M3A3, M1A2, M109, M113, M577, M1068, M1064, M992, and M88A2
  • Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of general quality inspection procedures, maintenance forms, records, reporting system, and management thereof
  • Must have knowledge of the scopes and limitations of various categories of maintenance and their applications to the contract unit
  • Must be capable of reading, interpreting, and using complex blueprints, schematic diagrams, and data tables
  • Must be able to perform complete technical inspection of contract units and be able to determine that completed repairs comply with standards described in applicable publications
  • Must be able to instruct and demonstrate correct maintenance techniques and procedures
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must have knowledge of diagnostics tools and forms used at the unit level
  • Must be able to read vehicle/equipment schematics
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to track maintenance and repair

Inspector- Generators

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inspector will perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections of all diesel generators and additional generators belonging to the APS-2 equipment stock.

  • Assist with and or conducts initial inspections on different classifications of generators, upon delivery of equipment and records data information

  • Troubleshoot identified faults and in-process inspections as required during the repair phase

  • Conduct a final inspection upon completion of maintenance repairs to ensure quality product outputs are met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or equivalent 
  • 1 to 2 years of generator mechanic experience is required.1 to 2 years of experience as a generator mechanic inspector is preferred
  • U.S. Army 91D power-generation specialist or equivalent military experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of general quality inspection and maintenance procedures, maintenance forms, records, reporting system, and management thereof
  • Must have knowledge of the scopes and limitations of various categories of maintenance and their applications to the contract unit

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

The Heavy Equipment Lead will perform organizational, intermediate level maintenance/modifications on military equipment and have managerial responsibilities.

 

WORK LOCATION

Mannheim, Germany

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage activities and personnel engaged in the full range of heavy wheeled equipment maintenance repair

  • Lead approximately 12 to 20 mechanics in either the TDA, Light, Medium, or Heavy Wheels shops
  • Possible deployment may be required to other sites to perform inspections and repairs on equipment that is either being issued out to or returned from using Units
  • Overtime work hours may be required

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or equivalent 
  • MOS 91H or equivalent, preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience as a heavy equipment mechanic is required

  • 1-3 years’ leadership experience required

  • Military experience is preferred

  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair

  • Knowledge of GCCS-A, FEDLOG and office program is a plus

  • Will be required to obtain a military driver’s license (OF 346)

Engineer Equipment Mechanic

POSITION SUMMARY

The Engineer Equipment Mechanic will perform the full range of engineer equipment maintenance repairs. Diagnose system malfunctions, isolate causes, and correct deficiencies for the following types of military engineer equipment: bulldozers, graders, forklifts, cranes, and Rough Terrain Container Handlers (RTCH). Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on various pieces of engineer equipment including but not limited to military and civilian engineer equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and replace brake actuators, batteries, starter motors, alternators, mechanical fuel pumps, hydraulic cylinders/pumps/control valves, drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, disc brake pads, water pumps, turbochargers, cylinder heads, high pressure fuel injection pumps, wheel bearings/seals, steering unit torque link and road wheels
  • Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul engines, final drives, power trains, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components; perform welding and cutting to accomplish repairs
  • Supervise and inspect maintenance of construction, powered bridging and associated equipment; perform troubleshooting of engines, power trains, fuel and electrical systems, hydraulic systems, earth moving components and pneumatic equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience as an engineer equipment mechanic is required
  • Experience in the Army 91L MOS (Construction Equipment Repairer) or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair
  • May be required to obtain a military driver’s license (OF 346)

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy service center/maintenance garage environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by established Company Safety Standards. Normal work hours are 40 hours a week, however some extended or weekend hours may also be required.
