Protective Security Specialist (PSS) | WPSIII

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide mobile armed personal protection and emergency response security services in high-risk areas on behalf of the Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq. Employees rotate in and out of country throughout the duration of their contract.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
  • Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
  • Carry and operate weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from your chain of command
  • Participate in advance security preparations.
  • Man the security post at the principal’s residence, the command post, or other static post as required.
  • Serve as a member of a QRF as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented protective security experience. A Service-2 or Member-4 copy of the DD-214 must be provided for applicants using U.S military service as applicable experience.
    • Protective security experience is defined as a personal bodyguard, a designated security member of convoy or movement operations, or security services experience while actively carrying a firearm. Experience may only be gained by employment under a national/federal government, state government, city/municipal government, provincial or township government, or a government-licensed commercial entity that provides armed protective services. Experience as sworn law enforcement in the United States is always applicable.
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.

Site Security Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Site Security Manager has responsibility for the security of all client personnel and operations in their designated site. They will lead, administer, command, coordinate, prepare and train a team of static security guards in order to achieve

this objective.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and direct the guard force in accordance with the site Security Plan and assist in the Assessment or risk and development of the plan.
  • Conduct training as specified by the Olive Group training directive to ensure that guards comprehend their role, their responsibilities as security officers and are competent in the use of equipment assigned to them.
  • Comply with Olive Group Standing Operating Procedures and the policies and procedures laid down in the Quality Management System
  • Ensure that all members of the guard are fully appraised of the prevailing threat and that they are prepared for incidents arising in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be an Australian expatriate that should be able to converse and write in English.
  • Shall have military/police background and having at least ten (10) years’ service experience in military/police or at least ten (10) years combination experiences in military/police service and commercial security.
  • Shall possess an ILO’s “Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems” (ILO-OSH 2001) or UK National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) or US Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) recognised certificate.
  • Must be conversant with the host country laws.
  • Shall not be more than 55 years old during pre-mobilization.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. The post is covered 24 per day by two individuals each carrying out a 12-hour shift

Intelligence Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Intel & Risk Manager, the Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for producing high quality security briefings for Constellis clients. This role will immerse the successful candidate into the operations of Constellis across the world, offering an excellent opportunity to gain analysis experience, increase business knowledge and build a broad range of commercial skills. This role is in direct support of multiple client projects, as well as internal stakeholders. Role is shift specific, working eight hours daily for five days per week. A flexible take on working times may be required.

*Position is located in Baghdad, Iraq. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within a team to support the delivery of regular (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) and ad hoc security reports for various locations
  • Report directly to the Intel & Risk Manager and provide written analysis and research for threat assessments and in support to company operations
  • Collect timely and relevant security information from a wide range of sources, including human and OSINT
  • Seek to expand and improve sources of security information
  • Read deeply and widely on security related matters in relation to the designated country
  • Produce accurate, well-constructed alerts, briefs and reports on security related matters in relation to a designated location 
  • Produce high quality presentations on security matters, to be delivered orally, supported by slides
  • Deliver high quality oral security briefings on the designated country to clients and groups of clients
  • Support the Intel & Risk Manager in the production of complex risk assessments as required
  • Engage in business development activities
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of the major security issues facing different regions in the world
  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Politics/Relations, Middle/Near Eastern Studies or other relevant subject
  • Detailed knowledge of security issues in different regions, particularly  the Middle East and Africa
  • Evidence of previous work/research and demonstrable interest in/understanding of security issues and geopolitics
  • The ability to demonstrate, both in written reports and orally, a depth of knowledge of the abovementioned subjects 
  • The ability to express ideas clearly in business writing, as well as orally
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Intelligence Cycle and the responsibilities of a security analyst
  • Excellent English language skills, oral and written, in particular the ability to write high quality, international standard English
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to operate MS Office with Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to identify the information need, seek that information from appropriate sources and use skillful research to draw out the required detail
  • The ability to be thorough, ensuring work and information are complete and accurate
  • The ability to keep functioning effectively when under pressure and prioritize tasks as required
  • Proficiency in Arabic, French, or any other language preferred
  • Previous experience within the aviation security, risk management or advisory sectors preferred
  • Master’s Degree in relevant discipline preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Provide advanced emergency medical care to Contractor personnel, COM personnel, and others at the direction of DS/RSO, within the Contractor’s Scope of Practice and in alignment with the National Emergency Medical Services Scope of Practice
  • Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
  • Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
  • Maintain assigned protective formation position during principal’s walking movements.
  • Participate in advance security preparations.
  • Staffs the security post at the principal’s residence, or man the command post or other static post as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable pre-hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level. Experience must be a full-time primary duty. Work experience in a hospital or clinic setting does not satisfy this requirement.
  • Must possess current and active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification an AEMT as well as the following certifications:
  1. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Professional Rescuer certification or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  3. Advanced Trauma Training credentials [i.e., International Life Support (ILS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent]
  4. Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course, or an equivalent tactical trauma course of at least 16 hours duration, within the last ninety (90) days.
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.

  • Carry and operate weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from your chain of command
  • Participate in advance security preparations.
  • Man the security post at the principal’s residence, the command post, or other static post as required.
  • Serve as a member of a QRF as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented protective security experience. A Service-2 or Member-4 copy of the DD-214 must be provided for applicants using U.S military service as applicable experience.

    • A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must be as a DDM/sniper/sharpshooter. Candidates claiming military experience must have either a sniper military occupation specialty (MOS) or additional skill identifier (ASI). If claiming law enforcement experience for this requirement, it must be full-time and not as a collateral duty.
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.
  • Must attend and successfully complete a sniper/DDM/sharpshooter program issued by a military, law enforcement, or security (government or commercial) training program. This sniper/DDM/sharpshooter program must be of suitable complexity and quality to adequately prepare the graduate for successful performance as a WPS III DDM. Examples of programs that meet this requirement include, but are not limited to:
  1. United States Marine Corps (USMC) Scout/Sniper
  2. United States Army Sniper School
  3. United States Special Forces Sniper School (formerly SOTIC)
  4. Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Hostage Rescue Team (HRT)/Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT)
  5. Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Mobile Security Division (MSD) DDM
  6. National Tactical Officer’s Association (NTOA) recognized law enforcement sniper course
  7. Army Search and Rescue Team (SRT) Level II course
  • Must score minimum M4 qualification of 95% (i.e., 285 out of 300 with iron sights) or better on the DS qualification course of fire. The candidate shall maintain this qualification level with the M4 throughout contract performance under this position

  • Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
  • Maintain assigned protective formation position during principal’s walking movements.
  • Participate in advance security preparations.

Intelligence Analyst (IA) / Research Analyst (RA) | WPSIII

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide all-source intel analyst support to Task Order in Baghdad, Iraq for the Department of State. Employees rotate in and out of country throughout the duration of their contract.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Analyze all-source intelligence addressing a broad range of issues, focusing on insurgent capabilities and actions, political and cultural climates, tribal and social networks, and other issues as required.
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence, reviewing this information for credibility, urgency, and specific target information.
  • Produce concise written and oral intelligence reports for use by embassy management and DS personnel.
  • Prepare daily written and oral intelligence summary reports for applicable personal protection, guard force, and emergency response team services.
  • Prepare assessments and spot reports.
  • Brief appropriate DS personnel on security matters pertaining to the operating environment on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Notify/communicate urgent threat information to the appropriate DS personnel.
  • Perform liaison work with U.S. officials and military units on site, and with counterparts in DS on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a situational map of incidents and a database of known threats, events, and indications of enemy intent.
  • Develop and use an indication and warning matrix to illustrate possible enemy intent and prepare reports that support these conclusions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.
  • Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable all-source intelligence analytical experience.
    • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of overseas experience performing as an intelligence analyst.
  • Must have completed a formal military intelligence training course or have equivalent training through classified online courses and work experience demonstrating the use and function of the U.S. intelligence cycle.

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform Administrative and Logistical functions in support of Task Order in Baghdad, Iraq for the Department of State. Employees rotate in and out of country throughout the duration of their contract.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Perform the required general administrative and logistical functions
  • Prepare and maintains records, including personnel, property, maintenance, and operational records
  • Prepare periodic/scheduled reports
  • Maintain duty schedules and timesheets
  • Coordinate transportation for task order personnel, including country clearance telegrams, in-country security for incoming and outgoing personnel, and ensuring in-country housing needs are met.
  • Coordinate shipping arrangements, documenting that the proper customs, procedures, and standards are adhered to
  • Perform supply, receiving, marking, and warehousing and storing activities
  • Coordinate billeting, storage, and maintenance activities
  • Maintain active and accurate accounting of all task order equipment and supplies, through a computerized file and accounting system
  • Other administrative functions as assigned by the client

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • At a minimum, must possess either a bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain management from an accredited institution or a current Certified Professional Property Specialist certification; Certified Professional Property Administrator certification is preferred www.npma.org
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative and logistical support management

    • Records and reporting
    • A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in property management with demonstrable experience in at least three (3) of the following areas:
    • A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been in overseas procurement and logistics management
  • Level three (3) English language proficiency required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and possess sufficient computer skills to manage electronic files and an electronic record keeping system
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess no impediments to travel overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order
  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
