POSITION: Background Investigator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with ICD 704 standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence and education institutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship;
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of One (1) year within the last ten (10) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
- Experience conducting one-on-one subject interviews is required;
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
- Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
- Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
- Current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI and able to obtain the required security clearance.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required. The position does not require regular travel.

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility and function of a Range Operations Specialist (ROS) is to comprehensively operate all firing range systems (e.g. software, programs, equipment, etc.) during all shooting activities. An ROS is often depended upon to assist and/or guide range personnel, both on and off the firing range deck, and is expected to do so in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors the daily range schedule
- Operates target carrier system and all other firing range software, programs, and equipment
- Observes range activity and alerts the Range Master accordingly (e.g. safety violations and other issues or concerns)
- Addresses and corrects repair needs on the firing range
- Performs range inspections before and after all range activity, and reports findings accordingly
- Keep the Range Operation Booth sanitary and neat
- Perform all computer functions as assigned
- Ensures ranges are entered hot and hold utilizing the Brains Computer Software
- Communicates range hot and cold status with Range Master via hand-held radios
- Assists with the preparation of Daily Range Control Brief as directed by the Range Master
- Conducts Range Check-in and Check-out tasks in accordance with Range Control Standard Operating Procedure
- Ensures Daily Range Control Brief is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
- Ensures ranges are checked out and in, in accordance with the Range Control Standard Operating Procedure
- Reports range deficiencies to Range Master and the Lead ROS
- Reports range conflicts to the Lead ROS (and/or training center scheduling entities if necessary) for resolution
- Assists commercial clients with range assignment and other needs as necessary
- Completes all training requirements as assigned
- Comprehends and follows all emergency response plans and procedures as required
- Completes annual Blood Lead Level and Audiogram testing
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- S. Citizenship required
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
- Experience as a Range Safety Officer preferred, or equivalent combination of training and related experience within the U.S. Military or Law Enforcement required
- Proficiency with MS Office required

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is based out of a busy training center/business office environment and may be subject to frequent interruptions. The standard work week for a Range Operations Specialist is Monday through Friday, with operating hours anywhere between 6:00 AM through 12:00 AM; however, extended hours and weekend hours are also sometimes required. The Day Shift typically runs from 6:00 AM through 3:00 PM. The evening shift typically runs from 3:00 PM through 12:00 AM. The work schedule for a Range Operations Specialist will include hours during the day shift and/or the evening shift, either in their entirety, or any portion or combination thereof. Scheduling is based upon the needs of the training center.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 80 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, The Operations Support Specialist provides administrative support and is responsible for smooth communications between the department/division and customers, suppliers, and other departments/divisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sends, receives, and verifies the completeness and accuracy of all documentation pertaining to new hires
- Assembles new hire packets for orientation
- Facilitates new hire orientation sessions
- Audits personnel documents
- Updates electronic files and databases
- Answers employee questions, answers incoming calls, provides information on routine inquiries, and takes messages and forwards callers as appropriate
- May perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
- Size applicants for new uniforms, place uniform orders and issue out uniforms
- Maintains required files and documentation, data backups, and confidentiality of records
- Ensure documents are complete, current and stored appropriately and securely
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree or (HS Diploma/GED and 4 years equivalent work experience) required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Three years of administrative experience or Two years as a Recruiting Assistant or Coordinator required
- Experience working with U.S. Government contracts preferred
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office preferred

Position Overview
Staff armed security posts and provide security for the personnel and property of, and visitors to, assigned US Government Property. May also work in a Control Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be familiar with all state requirements and with the local jurisdictional criteria for Protective Security Officers.
- Not inclusive – Man post in accordance with government Post Orders.
- Perform vehicular searches to detect unauthorized material and prevent its access into the building.
- Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
- Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post, which may be a threat to the property, client or employees at the site.
- Report all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies.
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats, and alarms, such as fire and intrusion, by following emergency response proceedings.
- Physically control violent or unruly crowds.
- Attempt to subdue person in case of life and death situation.
- Operating a motor vehicle if on applicable post.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident who has served in the US armed forces
- At least 21 years of age
- Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Posses at least ONE of the following experience
- 3 years of armed security experience
- 2 years of US military experience, with an honorable discharge
- 1 year of law enforcement experience with a full-service, US police department
- Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required
- Shall be able to speak read, write and understand English.
- Meet all contract requirements, including medical, drug screening, psychological, background check, training, and FPS suitability.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Heavy work: Exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, machines such as fire equipment and apparatuses, firearms and clearing barrels.

POSITION SUMMARY
Managing the requirements of this contract is considered a critical function. In addition to providing contract administration and ensuring compliance with contract requirements, the Program Manager shall oversee and manage all the security & Fire Services operations on site at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure employees perform all duties and requirements of the contract, ensuring: quality of services and supplies, timeliness of all deliverables, control costs, compliance with all government reporting requirements, quality control and management of key personnel
- Make decisions on behalf of the company, particularly on personnel related issues
- Supervise all individuals working under this contract
- Be available on a 24-hour basis, to ensure prompt response in the event of an emergency or exigent circumstance
- Conduct prompt and thorough internal investigations of reported allegations
- Ensure all equipment and property is tracked and accounted for, and otherwise safeguarded
- The PM will have overall responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the program quality control and training plans and is responsible for ensuring the work force complies with program requirements
- Serve as the focal point for the client for all program activities and be responsible for overall quality and standards conformance in accordance with the SOW
- Ability to plan projects, meet objectives, develop contingencies, and manage resources within budget
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess, at minimum,: Undergraduate (4-year) or applicable experience.
- Documented managerial training specifically related to fire/security
- Experience managing or overseeing contracts to provide security officer and fire fighting services to various locations and multiple facilities and to provide surge response to heightened security conditions, emergent needs, or for special events
- Must have a minimum of a DOD Interim Secret security clearance
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word
- Possess five (5) years’ experience supervising contracts with more than forty (40) people
- Specialized experience includes: project development and implementation from inspection to deployment; expertise in management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms; and demonstrated capability in managing multi-task programs or subcontracts of various types and complexity
