POSITION SUMMARY
The Jr. Handler is responsible with screening cargo in compliance with TSA rules and regulations. The Jr. Handler is required to complete a 4–8 weeks minimum team training course and certification prior to mobilization to the assigned location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify explosive threats
- Conduct authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed
- Perform Handler duties while commanding a trained explosive working dog
- Responsible for maintaining training records
- Responsible for maintaining training records, care, and maintenance of assigned certified canine. The assigned canine must be permitted to live inside the employee’s residence. The employee’s residence must be adequate, indoor, and climate-controlled for the canine. The canine living area at the employee’s residence is subject to reoccurring inspections.

- Must be willing to operate company vehicle (during on-site training)

QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must be able to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN) within four to six weeks of employment
- Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge within four to six weeks of employment
- Must be able to obtain a Security Threat Assessment (STA) for Airport Badge within four to six weeks of employment
- Must have adequate transportation to transport assigned Canine and Crate (inside the vehicle) to/from assigned work location; transportation must have operational climate control
- Must be able to pass the applicable Contract Testing and Certifications for the program within four to six weeks of employment; candidate must maintain the certification requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record for the last three years
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work conditions can vary from a busy training environment to field work, both subject to frequent interruptions. Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold, and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Work hours will be dictated by the customers agreed upon schedule. Nights, weekends, and holiday hours will be required, and the work schedule will vary. Travel may also be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 100 lbs. Requires standing for long periods of time in all weather conditions. Requires intermittent sitting, walking, running, climbing, squatting, stretching, bending, and kneeling. POSITION SUMMARY
The FF/EMT performs duties, in both emergency and non-emergency situations, related to fire protection, emergency medical services, rescue services, hazardous materials response, and emergency management delivery at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.
- Full-time and Part-Time
- Shift work (24-hours on duty, 48-hours off duty)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to any Fire, EMS, or Hazmat incident on the plant
- Check and maintain all emergency vehicles and rescue tools
- Test and inspect fire hose and hydrants
- Conduct extinguisher checks
- Maintain the cleanliness of the fire station and its grounds
- Conduct standbys for tenants
- Conduct building inspections
- Inspect and maintain SCBAs
- Respond to protective building alarms or other calls for assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shift Lieutenant or Captain.
- Available to respond back to off duty incidents if called upon
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a US citizen (or have proof of legal authorization to work in the United States)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have completed high school or have GED equivalent
- IFSAC or ProBoard Firefighter I and II
- IFSAC or ProBoard Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations
- Missouri EMT-Basic (must be obtain prior to appointment)

- NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 ( can be completed during orientation)

POSITION: Background Investigator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence and education institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship;
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of 1 year within the last five (5) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
- Must have some mix of NBIB/DCSA/FIS Experience;
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
- Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
- Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form;
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations;
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence;

- Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
- Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned.
- Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more) as needed
- Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- Adapt to changing situations and environments as they occur and be able to interact with people from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit professional demeanor in all situations.
- Work load based on availability of cases in geographic area.
- Some voluntary, temporary duty assignments in other areas of the country (typically 2-4 weeks at a time) are possible.

- Office of Personnel Management investigator training.
- Prior background investigations experience supporting government contracts.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically based in the investigator’s home office as well as in the investigator’s personal vehicle traveling to various field locations to conduct interviews. Coverage area varies and could include some extended drives.
