Unarmed Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Provide professional, high-level unarmed security services for the personnel, visitors, and property of various buildings within the Seattle, WA area. May also work in a Control Center.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide security for various buildings by conducting perimeter security, internal security, threat monitoring , etc.
  • Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
  • Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors
  • Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors as required
  • Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
  • Conduct internal and external roving vehicle, bicycle, and/or foot patrols
  • Traffic control as necessary
  • Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies
  • Secure entrances and exits during emergencies
  • Control keys and lock combinations
  • Communicate and remain accessible via two-way radio or company issued cellular phone
  • Understand and comply with all requirements, plans, policies, procedures.
  • Observe and report all offenses/incidents including suspicious activity
  • Complete all reports and paperwork as required
  • Provide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary.
  • Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with state and company guidance.
  • Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices.
  • Support safety programs participate in Quality and Process Improvement programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular, in-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

 

Must meet one (1) of the below experience requirements.

  • Prior Law Enforcement Officer graduated from official Law Enforcement Academy OR
  • Prior military with honorable discharge at a rank of E4 or above OR
  • Four (4) years of licensed armed security officer experience (Less Than Lethal acceptable), with demonstrated advanced training in security skill sets and proficiencies and a security vendor service record free of adverse actions OR
  • Five (5) years unarmed experience, and (2) years armed experience, and/or (2) years honorable military service with honorable discharge
  • Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent from a U.S. Accredited School.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen with a social security card
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must meet all medical and physical standards and satisfactorily complete background checks, psychological and drug screening
  • Guard card is required
  • Certificate/Training on non-lethal devices, including handcuffs, pepper spray and Taser is preferred
  • Current CPR/AED/1st Aid Certification
  • Write and speak clearly and effectively in English
  • Successful completion of training and certification

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements

Senior Sales Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Senior Sales Associate for our Pro-Shop will be responsible for processing customer purchases, maintenance and promotion of all items for sale in the Pro-Shop and will provide expert customer service to our customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides customer service and processes customer sales, including over the phone and the internet.
  • Maintains and assists in maintaining weapons and parts inventory.
  • Provides maintenance support and determines repair parts required for small arms and crew served weapons IAW approved procedures and policies.
  • Uses technical manuals and technical bulletins to keep current with small arms repair needs for parts and maintenance of customers’ weaponry.
  • Remains current on all weapons training and government regulations regarding firearms sales and transfers.
  • Fills all online orders.
  • Operates cash register accurately and efficiently while following cash handling procedures.
  • Reconciles daily cash drawers.
  • Performs monthly inventory and cycle counts.
  • Receives deliveries, unpacks and prices merchandise, and stocks shelves.
  • Utilizes hand-truck or dolly to move merchandise as needed.

Protective Security Specialist (PSS) | WPSIII

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide mobile armed personal protection and emergency response security services in high-risk areas on behalf of the Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq. Employees rotate in and out of country throughout the duration of their contract.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
  • Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
  • Carry and operate weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from your chain of command
  • Participate in advance security preparations.
  • Man the security post at the principal’s residence, the command post, or other static post as required.
  • Serve as a member of a QRF as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented protective security experience. A Service-2 or Member-4 copy of the DD-214 must be provided for applicants using U.S military service as applicable experience.
    • Protective security experience is defined as a personal bodyguard, a designated security member of convoy or movement operations, or security services experience while actively carrying a firearm. Experience may only be gained by employment under a national/federal government, state government, city/municipal government, provincial or township government, or a government-licensed commercial entity that provides armed protective services. Experience as sworn law enforcement in the United States is always applicable.
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.

Property Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Property Administrator will be responsible for ensuring all Sunflower transactions are accurate and properly documented within the system in accordance with company guidelines and Customer/Government requirements. They will also monitor the accuracy of all Sunflower transactions and resolve system discrepancies in a timely manner. The Property Administrator will be responsible for recommending system changes/updates to management as necessary, as well as assisting in the performance of internal Customer/Government audits in accordance with established company procedures and Customer/Government regulations. The Administrator will also create and maintain any required or requested audit and inventory reports and distribute them to the necessary stakeholders. 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and analyze daily Sunflower data entries and provide or recommend solutions for resolving random/systemic errors
  • Enter and monitor inventory transaction data for the Sunflower system
  • Communicate with various contract site leads to ensure 100% accountability of inventory along with site closeout and startups
  • Monitor Sunflower system performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations and solutions for improving transactional inputs and system efficiencies
  • Monitor Costpoint-to-Sunflower data transaction tables and provide problem solution support for any inventory interface problems
  • Assist in the investigation and reporting of missing or damaged (LTDD) customer items
  • Assist in the performance of internal Property Management audits
  • Develop various required or requested data/performance reports and distribute them to relevant stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate degree is preferred
  • Three years previous supply chain management experience is required
  • Familiarity with property management or similar computerized inventory control system software solution packages (i.e., Sunflower) is required
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of commercial and government property regulations and other relevant processes and procedures for supply chain management
  • Broad range of other computer skills; database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and other supply chain software applications is required
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma and how to use its many decision-making tools is a plus
  • NPMA Certification desired
  • Required to obtain CPPS level within the first year of employment

Housekeeper

POSITION SUMMARY 

 

Housekeeper will maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness of the hotel. This position involves high Guest Contact and presents the first point of contact with our guests while keeping all areas free of safety hazards and performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned and all common areas, ensuring hotel’s established standards of cleanliness, and replace required supplies. With instruction, be able to clean a standard guest room within 30 minutes meeting hotel cleaning standards.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean windows.
  • Ensures carts are clean and stocked with cleaning and room supplies.
  • Always maintain positive guest relations. Work to resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with guests as well as team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures and scheduled daily group activities.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
  • Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
  • Turn in lost and found items immediately to the supervisor.
  • Stock linen room with supplies.
  • Empty linen from housekeeping carts.
  • Sweep and mop Lobby areas
  • Clean Outside bathroom daily. Dust light fixtures in hallways.

Human Resources Generalist

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing Human Resources related duties on a professional level and work closely with HR and Operations Management. This is a hybrid position requiring working 2 days a week in either the
Herndon, VA or Moyock, NC office and 3 days working remote.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as liaison with client groups including Managers and Employees to administer HR related policies and activities
  • Manages employee data changes in HR Information Systems for timely and accurate updates to personnel records
  • Provides first-level coaching to client groups on general management issues such as performance, tardiness, and policy enforcement. Refers higher level employee relations issues to appropriate staff
  • Participate in and may lead departmental initiatives and projects

Grounds Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY 

 

The Grounds Maintenance Tech will perform grounds keeping activities to ensure that Company grounds are clean and well maintained. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Inspect and clean the grounds daily 
  • Physically walk the property, frequently, and removes litter and debris from the grounds 
  • Perform grounds maintenance assignments such as, but not limited to, bush/tree trimming or removal, edging, weed eating, painting (curbs, parking spaces or other items), sign and fence maintenance, mulching and miscellaneous grounds repairs 
  • Perform grounds enhancements, such as, but not limited to, planting flowers, bushes or trees 
  • Assist in the safe and orderly removal of trash, as required by local procedures 
  • Assist in the safe and secure movement and/or storage of property 
  • Report any unsafe conditions 
  • Repair roadways to include smoothing non-paved surfaces and filling potholes 
  • Assist with maintaining the shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition

The Driving Training Instructor will be responsible for providing quality training on tactical driving and operations as well as serving as a subject matter expert and resource for all aspects of tactical driver’s training and operations. The primary responsibility of each Instructor is the safety and well-being of all students during all training activities they lead. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide instructional and conduct guidance to students
  • Manage course flow to meet training curriculum guidelines and timelines
  • Ensure proper setup of the driving track
  • Explain and demonstrate the use of equipment
  • Conduct in car driver training in the following areas: Advanced Highway Safety, Beyond Normal Limits Driving, Tactical Driver Training (HMMWV driver training, off-road driver training and recovery techniques, high center of gravity vehicle driver training, and Evasive Actions)
  • Observe and evaluate the individual participants’ driving habits and reactions under various driving conditions to determine suitable remedial instruction and practice
  • Communicate and enforce safety procedures
  • Ensure safety of all students
  • Identify training requirements needed in a timely manner to maintain required certifications and Company standards, and completes all required continuing education and refresher training programs
  • Completes any additional training and/or certifications required by the government or the contract
  • Completes and files all required reports and documentation in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Citizenship is required 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid US drivers license and satisfactory driver record
  • Must be willing to operate Company vehicle
  • Two years of Law Enforcement and/or Military Operations experience and/or Professional Driving experience is required
  • Must have successfully completed the ACADEMI Open Enrollment Driving Instructor Course
  • Must be experienced in instructional techniques and proficient in MS Office   
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however schedule may vary, some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details related to specific working conditions may be outlined in your Statement of Work or Employment Agreement. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 80 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools. Additional details related to physical requirements may be outlined in the Company’s Performance Work Statement or Contract with the client.
