Armed Security Officer (Part Time) – FPS OK

Position Overview

In accordance with DHS protocols, the armed guard force is concerned with all matters relating to the security of the command, which include providing security and safety for personnel, property, facilities, and assets, entry control point services to ensure unauthorized personnel, property, equipment, vessels or vehicles are deterred and denied facility ingress and egress as well as safeguarding the facility against sabotage or any other incident that might jeopardize the normal operation of the command, such as theft, robbery, riot, lawlessness, demonstrations, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform identification checks to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed access to the facility.
  • May perform inspections to ensure only authorized commercial vehicles and cargo are allowed access to the facility.
  • May execute emergency ECP closure procedures during emergencies to ensure all ingress and egress of personnel, property, equipment, vessels or vehicles is denied.
  • May provide roving guard services and Perimeter and Interior Patrol that monitor facilities to ensure security breaches and criminal or suspicious activities are detected and reported in a timely manner.
  • May provide escort and courier services to ensure safe and timely delivery of personnel and property.
  • Assisting in plans and procedures to be followed in the event of any major catastrophe, such as tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, conflagration, and hostile acts to insure adequate security measures are maintained within the command.

Qualifications

  • A US Citizen with social security card
  • Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess at least one of the following experience/ education criteria: (1) minimum of two years armed guard experience within past five years, (2) two years of military or National Guard or (3) successful completion of a state certified law enforcement education and training or police officer’s standard training course.
  • Must meet all medical and physical standards as outlined in the contract
  • Meet background screening and U.S. Government suitability requirements.
  • Position may require the ability to acquire, and maintain, a security clearance.
  • Successful completion of Protective Security Officer Training and certification.
  • Pass and maintain medical, and physical fitness standards

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy work: Exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, machines such as fire equipment and apparatuses, firearms and clearing barrels.
  • May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather
  • Subject to high noise levels
  • Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals
  • May be required to be fitted for and/or wear a respirator
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, often without breaks, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Must meet all physical and psychological standards as required by the contract

Registered Nurse

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Responsible for working in various healthcare facilities to treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Duties include communicating with Doctors and other Registered Nurses about patient needs, administering IVs, vaccinations, and medications to aid their patients’ health and using medical equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide quality patient care through the nursing process
  • Coordinate plans of care with the staff physician
  • Implement and valuate patients’ plans of care for appropriateness
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
  • Prepare equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients
  • Observe patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notify physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
  • Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determines progress of patient
  • Report changes in the patient’s medical or mental condition to the attending physician
  • Prepare, coordinate, and review timely, legible, highly accurate clinical notes and progress notes and required recordkeeping
  • Assist with patient and family or significant other education to assist and promote return of optimal health status
  • Assist the Medical Director in performing medical and occupational health examinations including venipunctures and specimen collections, performing audiometric, vision, spirometry testing, EKG’s, vitals, and triage assessments
  • Assume leadership role for medical unit lab, clerical, EMT, and paramedic staff to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities
  • Assist other clinic staff with patient care to include: intake and registration, triage, lab work as directed by supervisor or staff physician and general cleaning, stocking, and care of the medical clinic
  • Identify training requirements needed to maintain required licensure, clinical credentials, certification, and company standards, and completes all required continuing education and refresher training programs
  • Participate in the continuing review of service and in the performance improvement program
  • Assist with clinic competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of licenses by clinical staff
  • Ensure periodic assessments are completed in a timely manner as directed by Federal, State, and applicable program regulations
  • Enforce and demonstrate compliance with Federal, State, Local and accreditation bodies regulations and standards
  • Maintain and provide proof of currency of required Registered Nurse licenses and other certifications
  • Comply with accepted professional standards and practices
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree accepted
  • Knowledge of medical protocols, policies and procedures, and professional standards and practices required
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Computer literate with basic MS Office skills required

Support various task orders that include disaster relief, COVID-19 vaccinations, hospital support or ground ambulance services. Each task order has different elements to the overall position. Responsibilities may include some or all of the items listed below.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May respond emergency medical dispatch requests and drive specifically equipped emergency vehicle
  • Determine nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance, basing decisions on statements of people involved, examination of victim or victims, and knowledge of emergency medical practice
  • Administer consistent, high quality prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency. Performing such activities as: opening and maintaining an airway; ventilating patients; administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation; using automated external defibrillators; administration of intravenous injections and medication administration; treatment of minor wounds or abrasions; and application of splints
  • Provide pre-hospital emergency medical care of simple and multiple system traumas such as: controlling hemorrhage; treatment of shock (hypo perfusion); bandaging wounds; immobilization of painful, swollen, or deformed extremities; and immobilization of painful, swollen, or deformed neck or spine
  • Assess nature and extent of illness or magnitude of crisis and provides appropriate emergency medical care
  • Perform or assist in removal of victims from scene of accident or catastrophe if needed
  • Assist clinic professional staff with patient care to include: intake, registration and triage
  • Maintain vehicles, medical and communication equipment in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintains timely, legible, highly accurate recordkeeping as required by the Company, local, state and federal regulations
  • Display an exemplary, safe, professional demeanor at all times
  • Practice absolute professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and competency with patients, their families, the public, other agencies and coworkers
  • Attend continuing education and refresher training programs as required by employers, medical control, licensing or certifying agencies

The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for providing full life-cycle recruiting support for all corporate, technical, and business positions.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Plan and execute recruiting strategies and provide services for assigned divisions

  • Create internet ads, and source candidates through advertisements and internet searches

  • Work closely with each hiring manager to report status of current activities and
    coordinate scheduling of interviews

  • Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval

  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to position requirements

  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position

  • Perform detailed reference checks and/or reference analysis on selected candidates

  • Ensure that internal and external recruiting processes are carried out in compliance with appropriate policies, guidelines and laws

  • Maintain recruiting documentation for tracking requisition processing, applicant flow, cost-per-hire and recruiting effectiveness statistics

  • Full Cycle Recruiting experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building relationships with recruits, internal customers and business partners

WORKING CONDITIONS:


Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
