POSITION SUMMARY
The Public Works (PW) Director is responsible for the full scope of Contractor’s responsibility regarding engineering, maintenance, operations, and quality management programs supporting the Government and the Singapore Base Operating Services Contract (SBOSC).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sole administrator of the Contractor’s Public Works Program, having full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards are met
- Ensure both prime and subcontractors abide by program, contractual and industrial standards/best practices
- Oversee, provide, and manage facilities services to include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and new construction
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must obtain a US Secret Clearance
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer, licensed by Singapore or the United States for Civil or Structural Engineering
- Five years of experience as a manager in a multi-discipline environment
- Must have knowledge in working with DOD Contracts, preferably with US Navy
- Must have the ability to actively engage with Public Works Officer and Contracting Officer
- Must have a valid Driver’s License (US or International)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

WORKING CONDITIONS
The regular working hours are from 0730-1730, five days per week, Monday through Friday, except observed Federal and local holidays. The work shall be performed at various locations within the Republic of Singapore, including PSA Sembawang, Changi Naval Base (CNB), and Paya Lebar Air Base (PLAB) or other locations in or around Singapore
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
