Alarm Monitor Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Alarm Monitor position provides physical security, by monitoring a detection, intrusion monitoring system. Close Circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring; dispatch; visitor processing; and administrative services.

YOU MUST POSSESS AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SENSTIVE COMPARTMENT INFORMATION WITH FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE BEFORE APPLYING.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform all duties of an Alarm Monitor.
  • Maintain daily duty log.
  • Conduct and record various checks and verifications
  • Report suspicious activities and persons.
  • Operate Intrusion Detection system, fire alarm system, radio transmitter and receiver, and telephones: Receives incoming fire calls by telephone or through alarm system.
  • Questions caller, observes alarm register.
  • Determines type and number of units to respond to alarms and/or emergency.
  • Relays messages from emergency scene, such as requests for additional help and medical assistance.
  • Records date, time, type of call and destination of messages received or transmitted.
  • Maintains activity, code, and locator files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • Minimum of 18 years of age;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
  • Possess good writing skills and ability to make decisions quickly and accurately;
  • Ability to function in a fast pace environment and able to multi task with little assistance;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and able to interpret documents to ensure all rules and procedures are being applied;
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
  • Ability to maintain telephone rapport with customers at all levels;
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner;
  • Ability to apply reasoning skills and document them oral, written, and/or diagram form;
  • Ability to solve problems until completion;
  • Ability to work in a MS Windows based operating environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Must have the required current Top-Secret clearance with Compartmental Access and Full-Scope polygraph.

Senior Recruiter

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting in support of our North America Operations (NAO) Business Unit at Constellis.  The position will be based in either our Herndon, VA or Upper Marlboro, MD office on a Hybrid work schedule. (2 days a week in office, 3 days remote) 

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit multiple positions and manage a high volume of candidates simultaneously
  • Own the recruitment process from search to managing candidate relationship through offer acceptance
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract active and passive candidates to meet hiring requirements to include job posting optimization, digital and non- digital employment marketing, transitioning military recruitment, social media, job fairs and networking
  • Screen and evaluate applicants work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to obtain best match for position
  • Provide complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position
  • Manage the candidate flow in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in accordance with company policy and procedures as well as OFCCP compliance
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, program managers, and the business development team to develop custom recruiting strategies
  • Manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Recommend improved efficiencies for systems and processes
  • Provide weekly performance metrics

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of sourcing/recruiting experience
  • 1 year of recruiting candidates with TS/SCI/Poly required for the position in Herndon
  • Understanding of government contracting recruiting
  • Demonstrated ability to communication and build relationships with applicants, internal customers, and business partners
  • Ability to understand position requirements to effectively identify qualified applicants
  • Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and recruiting tools

Recruiting Operations Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Under general supervision, The Operations Support Specialist provides administrative support and is responsible for smooth communications between the department/division and customers, suppliers, and other departments/divisions.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sends, receives, and verifies the completeness and accuracy of all documentation pertaining to new hires
  • Assembles new hire packets for orientation
  • Facilitates new hire orientation sessions
  • Audits personnel documents
  • Updates electronic files and databases
  • Answers employee questions, answers incoming calls, provides information on routine inquiries, and takes messages and forwards callers as appropriate
  • May perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
  • Size applicants for new uniforms, place uniform orders and issue out uniforms
  • Maintains required files and documentation, data backups, and confidentiality of records
  • Ensure documents are complete, current and stored appropriately and securely
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree or (HS Diploma/GED and 4 years equivalent work experience) required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Three years of administrative experience or Two years as a Recruiting Assistant or Coordinator required
  • Experience working with U.S. Government contracts preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides quality high risk firearms and tactics instruction to Academi customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides instruction for Firearms and Tactics courses utilizing prescribed curriculum.
  • Updates course curriculum as directed by Sr. F & T Instructor and/or management staff.
  • Lead Instructs/Assistant Instructor for all Core Curriculum Courses.
  • Lead Instructor/Assistant Instructor for all Contracted Courses.
  • Teaches customized training courses.
  • Conducts mobile training.
  • Explains and demonstrates use of apparatus and equipment.
  • Evaluates the abilities of individual participants to determine suitable corrective or remedial training.
  • Maintains overall safety and organization of the training environment.
  • Ensures safety of students. Communicates and oversees compliance with company policy, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Ensures accountability for all training equipment.
  • Identifies in a timely manner training requirements needed to maintain required certifications and company standards and completes all required continuing education and refresher training programs.
  • Completes any additional training and/or certifications required by the government or the contract.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Eight years of practical experience in Law Enforcement and/or Military Special Operations required.
  • Completion of US Military/Law Enforcement (DCJS or POST) Course or equivalent years of experience in tactical instruction techniques required. Must pass background investigation, physical, drug, and psychological screening, and have no legal disqualifiers to possess firearms.
  • Computer literate with basic proficiency in MS Office required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Contract Sourcer

Contract Sourcing Recruiter:  6 months term of contract with possible extension.

Hybrid schedule (1 day per week in our Herndon VA, or Upper Marlboro office).  Fully remote location will be considered, depending on candidate’s experience.

  • Recruit multiple positions and manage a high volume of candidates simultaneously.
  • Own the sourcing process from search, to initiating candidate relationship through offer.
  • Screen and evaluate applicants work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to obtain best match for position.
  • Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, program managers, and the business development team to develop custom recruiting strategies.

  • Manage the candidate flow in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in accordance with company and OFCCP guidance.

  • Provide weekly performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or at least two (2) years of recruiting experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree (military or sales experience may be substituted)
  • At least 4 years of experience sourcing/recruiting candidates (including 2 years recruiting candidates possessing TS/SCI with poly clearances)
  • Demonstrable history of developing and using creative sourcing strategies
  • Strong market knowledge of the competitive landscape for hiring cleared talent across the government contracting industry
  • Ability to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, sourcing campaign and events
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and fluid recruiting environment
