Senior Radar Systems Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

 

To support efforts associated with the ACC Counterdrug program. These tasks involve services to be performed to meet ACC’s specialized CD engineering, technical, and management requirements that include troubleshooting, repairing, optimizing, sustaining, deploy/set up/operate/re-deploy Government owned counterdrug (CD) surveillance and communications systems to various CONUS & OCONUS locations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Tasks that include CD/CNT Operational and Logistics Support, Analyze/Optimize CD/CNT System Performance, Sustainment Support, Configuration Management Support, and Radar Data Quality Monitoring and Intelligence Analysis
  • Provide hands-on depot level sustainment support of CD D&M systems (PN radars; TPS-70, -75, -78 radars; SATCOM; ancillary systems; and radar data networking systems
  • Assist in program management and development and definition of CD requirements
  • Conduct D&M and communications studies and analyses
  • Provide technical, engineering, management and sustainment engineering support for CD systems
  • Apply systems engineering principles to provide engineering insight to D&M operational requirements
  • Evaluate, make recommendations, and optimize sensor operational performance
  • Provide training to US and PN personnel.  Plan and execute technical SMEEs
  • Assist with the development of procedures, plans, and documentation for testing and configuration management
  • Support the deployment/employment of CD systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance on sustaining the ACC CD Satellite Communications (SATCOM) network
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Surveillance experience with at least 10 recent years of hands-on technical experience working with air surveillance sensors and communications systems and their respective applications in the CD mission environment
  • Experience working, managing CD surveillance, command and control, and communications programs, AF/MAJCOM coordination/ staff package processing, acquisition, requirements development, and validation processes
  • Experience working with CCMDs, MAJCOM, SPOs and US Embassy staffs
  • Secret clearance is required from contract performance start date
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a management or technical field
  • Fluency in technical and conversational Spanish (DLPT Level 2+) and ability to translate between English and Spanish
  • Must be able to pass a CPR Certification

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Travel to austere environments may also be required.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or 100 lbs. when personnel are available to support. Some weekend work is required depending on travel locations and mission requirements.

Protective Security Specialist (PSS) | WPSIII

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide mobile armed personal protection and emergency response security services in high-risk areas on behalf of the Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq. Employees rotate in and out of country throughout the duration of their contract.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
  • Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
  • Carry and operate weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from your chain of command
  • Participate in advance security preparations.
  • Man the security post at the principal’s residence, the command post, or other static post as required.
  • Serve as a member of a QRF as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented protective security experience. A Service-2 or Member-4 copy of the DD-214 must be provided for applicants using U.S military service as applicable experience.
    • Protective security experience is defined as a personal bodyguard, a designated security member of convoy or movement operations, or security services experience while actively carrying a firearm. Experience may only be gained by employment under a national/federal government, state government, city/municipal government, provincial or township government, or a government-licensed commercial entity that provides armed protective services. Experience as sworn law enforcement in the United States is always applicable.
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must attend and successfully complete required training
  • Qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M240, M249, and requalifying as required by the task order (TO)
  • Complete the Physical Readiness Test (PRT) at the 65% performance level and maintain that fitness level for the duration of the contract
  • Must possess no impediments to travel overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order

Administrative Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Performs administrative and office support activities in a busy office environment. Duties will include data processing, creating detailed spreadsheets and presentations, proficiency in timekeeping, military time conversion, invoicing, billing and payroll for 105+ employees daily. Extensive software skills are required along with strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform detail-oriented tasks, within strict time constraints, to maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping.
  • Conduct quality control checks of all payroll entries weekly and initiate personnel related employee changes including, but not limited to, pay, direct deposit, etc.
  • Enter purchase requisitions and work to ensure requested equipment, uniforms or services are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Complete monthly invoices and provide data backups for submission.  
  • Create highly accurate, detailed spreadsheets and word documents to meet deliverable requirements.
  • Provide Administrative support to the Contract Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three years of direct experience in administrative and or payroll functions within the past five years.
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Must be a self-starter and work well with little direct supervision.  
  • Must be organized and be highly detail oriented.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
  • Ability to interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused on the overall mission under stressful situations.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports and invoices.
  • Preferred Experience: ADP, Deltek, Costpoint, Timekeeping,  and SAP Concur experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Infrequent travel as needed, less than 10 days per year. Work is typically in a busy indoor office environment. Business work hours consist of Monday – Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM in office position. ***Weekend Hours Flexible***

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
