Case Scoper – Background Investigations

POSITION: Case Scoper

Job Duties:

Review submitted SF86 for completeness, content, and release forms; review security form and break out investigation elements into geographic area according to scoping guidelines; create Letter of Assignment (LOA) in database by inputting tasks on LOA; forward completed packages to Assignments Section; provide statistics referencing outstanding cases to coordinator; fill out necessary administrative paperwork to send to other operational units as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • No experience in the investigations field needed
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of U.S. geography and ability to read street maps and understand time/distance concepts;
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and E-mail
  • Must have a current (within the last two (2) years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret Level Security Clearance based on an SSBI.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university
  • Knowledge of the Federal Investigative Standards
  • Knowledge of the Standard Form 86.

Senior Travel Specialist – Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Senior Travel Specialist is responsible for promoting travel philosophy and services through good customer service techniques.  This position is 100% remote.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees quality control on all reservations made by the travel specialist staff
  • Reconciles monthly credit card bills and vendor bills
  • Ensures department meets all Export Compliance requirements
  • Ensures tickets and reporting meet cost reimbursable requirements
  • Tracks refunds for unused tickets
  • Arranges airline, hotel and car rental reservations, including changes
  • Responds to requests for price quotations for domestic and international itineraries
  • Promotes acceptance of fares, rates, and suppliers that match company travel program policy and negotiated contracts to include applying discount programs as appropriate
  • Handles changes and exchanges for travel
  • Reviews airline, ground transportation and lodging rates and cross references government rates where applicable
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Stays informed of all airline rules, regulations, and current affairs. Communicates information accurately and appropriately
  • Prepares and/or process documents, reviews for accuracy and completeness; compares elements for consistency or logical relation, and updates information and/or evaluates against policy
  • Ensures the accuracy of ticketing and reservations
  • Responds to inquiries concerning routes, accommodations, and other travel details via telephone and/or e-mail in an efficient and timely manner
  • Assists in tracking and updating database as it relates to travel
  • Works with travel team to ensure financial goals are met
  • Supports 24/7 environment, making travel and possible financial decisions

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Five (5) years of experience in corporate or commercial travel required
  • Strong computer skills are required, including MS Office Suite and Internet skills
  • Experience with Worldspan/Galileo preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Scheduling and Timekeeper Administrator is a member of the Corporate IT department reporting to the Manager or IT Business Systems performing analysis and administration of our timekeeping and scheduling systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing system problem solving for scheduling systems and hours collection.
  • Meeting with users for problem solving and training.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot calc rules.
  • Monitors automate tasks and their effectiveness
  • Maintain complete technical documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Suggest improvements to time keeping and scheduling systems
  • Ability to occasionally travel as needed
  • Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing relevant issue data, resolving the issue reported and documenting the resolution in our incident reporting ticketing system
  • Reset passwords in scheduling systems
  • Receive and respond to all help desk tickets

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • BS/BA or relevant experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience (systems administrator desired)
  • Experience in Infor WFM system and/or Vaillant/Vision scheduling system 
  • Experience with systems training
  • Understanding of network operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Costpoint system knowledge a plus

Contracts and Procurement Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Contracts and Procurement Administrator is responsible for Contracts and Procurement compliance and assistance in management of related documentation, files, policies, procedures, and processes.  They are responsible for end-to-end contract and procurement administration, including the preparation, review, and monitoring of proposal and contract/procurement documents for low to moderate complexity projects.

General:

  • Assist with defining and documenting Contracts and Procurement workflows, procedures, and desktop instructions.
  • Assist in the management of the Contracts and Procurement documentation repository, including but not limited to, documents, files, correspondence, meeting minutes and other appropriate and applicable documents in accordance with requirements of a DCMA approved purchasing system.
  • Assist in responding to internal and external audits, to include the DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review.
  • Assist in conducting internal compliance reviews.
  • Manage Corporate purchasing needs; maintain responsibility for issued Company Purchase Card.
  • Develop and maintain key Contracts and Procurement data through Costpoint, spreadsheets, and/or other data systems/processes.
  • Work with program and field personnel to resolve Contracts and Procurement compliance issues.
  • Assist in oversight of Contracts and Procurement compliance, to ensure documents, files, correspondence, meeting minutes and other appropriate and applicable documents are maintained in accordance with requirements of a DCMA approved purchasing system, the FAR, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the management of Company Small Business Plans, to include creations, management of associated documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Negotiate and generate purchase orders for materials and/or services. Ensure all vendor qualification requirements are met prior to award, including insurance, security clearance, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Work with appropriate personnel to schedule deliveries, confirm vendor performance and verify completion of prescribed segments of work prior to payment.

Contract Administration:

  • Assist in providing full life cycle strategic contract administration support to internal and external clients to identify and assist in meeting contractual requirements and achieving contract compliance.
  • Facilitate contract execution by working with Government Contracting Officers (COs), Administrative Contracting Officers (ACOs) as well as Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and individual Program Managers as necessary.
  • Work with PMs/DPMs and other internal and/or external customers to ensure contractual issues and other assigned tasks are handled in a timely manner.
  • Complete Project Setup Forms, per company policy, for new contract awards and modifications to existing contracts.
  • Review assigned contract documents for accuracy and completion, and support through full signature process.
  • Ensure timely and complete filing of all contractual documents, within established company framework.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure customer billing is in accordance with contract requirements and/or applicable laws and regulations and assist in ensuring prompt and accurate payment from customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • One year of technical and/or professional experience in contract administration, procurement, contracts, program management, accounting, or comparable experience
  • Ability to work with basic business finance applications; experience with the Deltek Costpoint enterprise system preferred
  • Experience with CPSR audits preferred
  • Detail oriented with strong price/cost analysis skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion

Case Reviewer – Background Investigations

POSITION: Case Reviewer

Job Duties:

Provide advice and guidance to investigators on investigative and formatting requirements; Monitor pending cases to ensure compliance with delivery due dates and track submission of investigative leads; prioritize cases where noteworthy or derogatory information is developed; Monitor pending cases, review and revise reports of investigation; Check for quality and take necessary actions to complete case; notate Investigator Quality Performance remarks; Schedule additional leads as discovered in investigation. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • Minimum 18 years of age;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; experience in background investigations and knowledge of the background investigation process to include thorough understanding of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information in an effective manner to senior management;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence and education institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 year within the last five (5) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
  • Must have some mix of NBIB/DCSA/FIS Experience;
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
  • Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
  • Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information about the individual’s background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned.
  • Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more) as needed
  • Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Adapt to changing situations and environments as they occur and be able to interact with people from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Work load based on availability of cases in geographic area.
  • Some voluntary, temporary duty assignments in other areas of the country (typically 2-4 weeks at a time) are possible.
  • Other duties as required.

Desired Experience and Education:

  • Office of Personnel Management investigator training.
  • Prior background investigations experience supporting government contracts.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of One (1) year within the last ten (10) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
  • Experience conducting one-on-one subject interviews is required;
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
  • Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
  • Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
  • Current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI and able to obtain the required security clearance.
