OLIVE GROUP ADVISORS INPUT TO KEY PANELS AT 2016 OSAC AFRICA SECURITY FORUM
October 24, 2016

Olive Group executive vice president, Christian Ronnow, and senior advisor, Rob Andrew, attended the 2016 Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) Africa Security Forum in Washington, D.C on October 3-4. Christian participated in a panel for “Best Practices for Working in Remote Locations” and Rob presented on a panel for the “Mechanics of the Juba Evacuation” which discussed lessons learned from the July 2016 mass evacuation from South Sudan. This builds on the experience of Olive Group supporting the evacuation of over 60 clients from Juba during the recent tensions. The forum focused on a range of Africa security topics from operational practices to regional analysis. Over 200 security professionals representing government, business, international development and academia were in attendance to share ideas and create a stronger network for working in Africa. Africa is a key market for Olive Group where we support clients in Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Mali, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Nigeria.
