Project Support Specialist

Position:  Project Support Specialist — Background Investigations

 

Position Summary:

The Project Support Specialist plays a vital role on the team.  They provide administrative support for all phases of our operation to ensure deliverables are completed efficiently and on time.  Support Specialists need to be highly organized and take on tasks independently, as well as work with others to achieve success.  They will also facilitate communication and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

This position is located within the Constellis Headquarters offices in Herndon, VA.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform administrative responsibilities to assist project management staff. Such duties may include but are not limited to the following.

    • Data entry, typing, and manifest reconciliation.
    • Case file creation, assembly, and maintenance.
    • Manage standard operating procedures and monitor changes.
    • Open mail, sort, file and/or distribute.
    • Scan/upload documents to management system/network drives as needed. 
    • Order and dispense office supplies and setup maintenance for office equipment.
    • Prepare manifests and finalize delivery to the customer.
    • Troubleshoot issues as needed.
    • Run daily operations reports as needed or required.
    • Assist with credentialing investigators and process investigator candidates for use on the project.
    • Collaborate and communicate with the Project Management team and all other process stakeholders to optimize maximum efficiency.
    • Manage and maintain file room according to customer requirements as well as implement shredding/file destruction protocols.
    • Oversee daily/weekly destruction/shredding of case materials in accordance with contract requirements
    • Support a primarily remote staff of Investigators, Scopers, and Case Managers
    • Manage expense reporting and invoices  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a current favorably adjudicated SSBI or active Secret Level Security Clearance based on a full field investigation (Tier 3).
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • A current understanding of the background investigations process is favorable.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
  • Have problem solving skills
  • Possess excellent professional interpersonal skills and a diplomatic presence in person, by phone, and in written correspondence.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Must be organized, reliable, dependable, and manage multiple concurrent tasks throughout the day.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, mainly MS Word, and the ability to learn to use new technology systems. Familiarity with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint not required, but a benefit.
  • Knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Emergency Response Officer is responsible for maintaining a high visibility uniformed presence, responding to a variety of emergency situations. This position will provide assistance during acts of violence, crisis, and other incidents. Emergency Response Officers will assist by providing first aid, conducting evacuation, and engaging threatening individuals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and respond to emergencies including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters, and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force up to and including armed response by following established protocol.
  • Conduct surveillance operations
  • Assist in emergencies by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures
  • Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuries
  • Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons
  • Respond to direction and/or orders from supervisory personnel, especially in the context of an active shooter, assault, or other similar situation.
  • Move from location to location at appropriate speeds
  • Physically engage with a person who is threatening others

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Education, Licenses, Investigation, and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret SCI with a CI Poly Clearance

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of high-level security experience on Department of Defense site or similar in military
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience as an Emergency Response Officer

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, the ability to accurately handle and shoot a weapon
  • The ability to carry or move another individual, including one who may be injured
  • Must complete a psychological evaluation with a suitable recommendation
  • Post offer, must achieve each of the following:
  • DHS ICE Handgun qualification – 85% accuracy of maximum score of 250 (213 of 250)
  • Qualify with the Glock 17, 9mm pistol, during ERT training
  • DCJS Patrol Rifle Qualification
  • ERT Patrol Rifle Qualification
  • Complete Law Enforcement Responder (LER) medical training and certification
  • Complete the 3-week SPO (Security Protective Officer) academy
  • Complete the 4-week *ERT (Emergency Response Team) academy

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a physical fitness requirement of:
  • Run 1.5 miles in 13.5 minutes or less
  • Complete at least 31 sit-ups in 1 minute
  • Complete at least 25 push-ups in 1 minute
  • Complete a 50-meter (185 lbs.) dummy drag in 62 seconds or less
  • Perform a minimum of 4 pull-ups consecutively
  • Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law

Director, Business Development & Capture

Location: Virtual

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Business Development and Capture and working with business unit operations leadership, the Director is responsible for developing and executing win strategies for pursuits in the Integrated Services business unit. The Integrated Services business unit includes operations and maintenance, base operations support, vehicle fleet maintenance and construction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements effective win strategies and capture plans to profitably grow new business and retain existing business
  • Identifies and qualifies new business and maintains a pipeline aligned with the annual operating plan
  • Moves assigned opportunities through the business development lifecycle
  • Prepares and implements effective customer call plans
  • Builds capture teams and assigns capture responsibilities across the company in coordination with functional area leads (Contracts, Pricing, Finance, HR, etc.)
  • Prepares detailed competitor analyses
  • Identifies qualified teaming partners
  • Develops estimating and pricing strategies
  • Translates capture strategy, win themes, customer hot buttons, discriminator/differentiators, and ghosting techniques throughout the proposal
  • Coordinates development and implementation of communications/marketing campaigns supporting capture efforts
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by upper management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-10 years capture management experience, with a proven record of winning prime US federal government O&M, BOS, fleet and/or construction contracts
  • Relevant previous P&L responsibility strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with estimating strategies and tools, such as RS Means, CBRE CostLab, etc.
  • Familiarity with capture tools (GovWin IQ, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Security clearance eligible

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

Alarm Monitor Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Alarm Monitor position provides physical security, by monitoring a detection, intrusion monitoring system. Close Circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring; dispatch; visitor processing; and administrative services.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform all duties of an Alarm Monitor.
  • Maintain daily duty log.
  • Conduct and record various checks and verifications.
  • Report suspicious activities and persons.
  • Operate Intrusion Detection system, fire alarm system, radio transmitter and receiver, and telephones: Receives incoming fire calls by telephone or through alarm system.
  • Questions caller observes alarm register.
  • Determines type and number of units to respond to alarms and/or emergencies.
  • Relays messages from emergency scene, such as requests for additional help and medical assistance.
  • Records date, time, type of call and destination of messages received or transmitted.
  • Maintains activity, code, and locator files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • You must possess an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartment information with full scope polygraph before applying.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Impeccable customer service skills.

Unarmed Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Seeking full-time security officer with TS/SCI clearance to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Chantilly, VA location. 

 

Must have Top Secret/SCI. 

 

        

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant
  • Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
  • Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
  • Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain
  • Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

QUALIFICATIONS
