Security Protective Officer – (Full-time)

Must have a current TS-SCI

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Property Access Control, Building Protection, Traffic Control, Inspect Vehicles, Assist Visitors, Perform Roving Patrol Rounds In Vehicle or On Foot, Operate a Motor Vehicle, Enforce Regulations, Report Breaches of Security, Ability to respond to emergency situations including pursuit, apprehension and detention of individuals. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • Minimum of 21 years of age;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Must have minimum, at least one of the following:
  • Two (2) years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard);
  • Any combination of two (2) years of experience in physical security (as a security officer, armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard);
  • Associate Degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement-related field;
  • Successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy;
  • Three (3) years of experience in physical security as a security officer, armed or unarmed.
  • Read, speak and understand the English language fluently;
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms;
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record;
  • Must have a current Top Secret Level Clearance or Higher.
  • Successfully pass required pre-employment testing;
  • Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses;
  • Successfully to pass an employment physical;
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check;
  • Successfully complete a security interview screening;
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation;
  • Must be approved by the client to work at the site.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, machines such as fire equipment and apparatuses, firearms and clearing barrels.
  • May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather
  • Subject to high noise levels
  • Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals

Project Control Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Project Control Analyst will track the financial position of projects/contract/programs/indirect cost pools assigned from contract award through contract close out and ensure the various contracts requirements are met. This is a mid-level position managing multiple projects with annual revenues up to $150M.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs monthly review of projects and performance against budgets/cost proposals with variance explanations
  • Prepares quarterly and annual budgets for the projects assigned
  • Ensures invoices are billed in accordance with contract requirements and reconciles billings for each contract line item (CLIN) as required
  • Performs monthly financial analysis tracking key performance indicators
  • Prepares projections of revenue and expenses for projects based on numerous variables and objective and subjective data assumptions
  • Prepares cost models for pricing proposals under contracts assigned
  • Prepares monthly Estimates to Complete on projects assigned
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested
  • Ability to understand and convey cost impact of operational decisions via reports and communications to managers
  • Ability to interpret contracts, identify contract risks, recommend, and implement risk mitigation procedures
  • Assist external auditors in requests for financial information
  • Work with management on internal reviews
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Management or other related field required
  • Three-plus years of experience demonstrating progressive accounting or other related field experience required
  • Deltek Costpoint experience strongly preferred
  • Government contract experience including interpreting contract modifications, management of multiple projects/CLINs required
  • Knowledge of export compliance regulations, FAR, CASB requirements, and DCAA auditing a plus
  • Must be proficient with MS Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to create and interpret complex spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • Must be able to create and maintain PowerPoint presentations including graphs and tables
  • SharePoint experience preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion

Proposal Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Proposal Analyst will support proposal initiatives for the Proposal and Capture teams in achieving business development objectives and goals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use and further develop their analytical, communication, organizational, and research skills in a fast-paced business environment. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Proposals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensure proposals are responsive to requirements of RFPs or RFIs and align with design components
  • Write sections or volumes in relevant subject matter area(s) including Past Performance and Resumes
  • Create original content, use and edit existing content, and provide copy editing to ensure alignment towards wining proposals
  • Conduct research or internal data calls to find requested material relevant to subject matter area
  • Manage and maintaining corporate knowledge management resources to support proposal development efforts, including a repository of reusable content relevant to the subject matter area to include corporate project summaries and employee resumes/bios
  • Update of the proposal content repositories including the past performance library and any other content libraries cataloged by the department
  • Review proposal documentation (RFP, RFQ, etc.) to ensure compliance with proposal technical and management requirements
  • Edit documents, manipulating text, and proofreading final products, ensuring the quality, stylistic consistency, and contextual integrity of each document produced
  • Coordinate and assist in desktop publishing activities
  • Assist in graphic editing with support from Senior Graphic Designer
  • Handle all aspects of proposal production activities and tracking to final proposal submission
  • Coordinate supply ordering and estimating of service, material, equipment and production costs when needed
  • Ensure proposal artifacts are updated and kept current in the SharePoint Proposal site
  • Assist in organization of ensuring proposal assets and templates follow proposal standards, as well as development of new proposal assets and templates as needed
  • Responsive to quick turn customer or internal requests
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree desired
  • 2-3 years of federal proposal writing or coordination experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite (Expert in Microsoft Word, including developing MS Word templates and applying styles), Adobe Professional (Illustrator desired), and SharePoint with preferred experience with MS-Project and MS-Visio
  • Skilled in formatting Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint documents
  • Experience in proposal preparation and reviews with management
  • Experience in technical writing and proposal development for CONUS and OCONUS Government, commercial, and private industry contracts
  • Experience in interpreting RFPs from various Government agencies
  • Excellent reading comprehension, writing, spelling, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines and work well with others to prompt questions and obtain required information
  • Ability to research, absorb and capture varied information
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively, independently and in teams, in a fast-paced, deadline intensive environment

Employee Field Investigator – Entry Level, Fairfax, Va

POSITION: Background Field Investigator – (Entry Level)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence, and education institutions.

Driving is an essential function of the job and Motor Vehicle Records may be checked as part of the hiring process or at any time during employment. Candidates with poor driving history will not be considered.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI or
  • Candidate must be willing to complete security paperwork and participate in a Background Investigation to include 10+ years of history comprising items such as residence, education, employment, financial, medical, and personal records
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Must be a citizen of the United States
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree from accredited College or University

  • Attend and successfully pass all required training which includes 4-week virtual classroom training and 2-week in person mentorship with Senior Investigator

  • Office of Personnel Management investigator training.

  • Current Top-Secret clearance

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain information about the individual’s background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions
  • Complete record checks at law enforcement agencies, courthouses, education and employment records, financial/bankruptcy records, and medical/mental health records
  • Obtain and complete fieldwork in a rapid, time-sensitive work environment while meeting quality and timeliness metrics
  • Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned
  • Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more), radius of their region (or more as needed)
  • Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with case managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Communicate effectively with Regional Field Managers, Lead Investigators, and Case Managers to ensure timeliness and thoroughness of investigations

SUMMARY: The Emergency Response Officer is responsible for maintaining a high visibility uniformed presence, responding to a variety of emergency situations. This position will provide assistance during acts of violence, crisis, and other incidents. Emergency Response Officers will assist by providing first aid, conducting evacuation, and engaging threatening individuals.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and respond to emergencies including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters, and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force up to and including armed response by following established protocol.

  • Conduct surveillance operations
  • Assist in emergencies by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures
  • Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuries
  • Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons
  • Respond to direction and/or orders from supervisory personnel, especially in the context of an active shooter, assault, or other similar situation.
  • Move from location to location at appropriate speeds
  • Physically engage with a person who is threatening others

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Business Development and Capture and working with business unit operations leadership, the Director is responsible for developing and executing win strategies for pursuits in the Integrated Services business unit. The Integrated Services business unit includes operations and maintenance, base operations support, vehicle fleet maintenance and construction.

  • Relevant previous P&L responsibility strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with estimating strategies and tools, such as RS Means, CBRE CostLab, etc.
  • Familiarity with capture tools (GovWin IQ, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Security clearance eligible

Background Investigator – DCSA – Nationwide

POSITION: Background Investigator – DCSA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence and education institutions.

16.73-30.98 Hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 year within the last five (5) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
  • Must have some mix of NBIB/DCSA/FIS Experience;
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
  • Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
  • Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations;
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence;
  • Ability to work in a MS Window based operating environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and E-mail;
  • Current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI and able to obtain the required security clearance.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information about the individual’s background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned.
  • Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more) as needed
  • Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Adapt to changing situations and environments as they occur and be able to interact with people from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Work load based on availability of cases in geographic area.
  • Some voluntary, temporary duty assignments in other areas of the country (typically 2-4 weeks at a time) are possible.
  • Other duties as required.

Desired Experience and Education:

  • Office of Personnel Management investigator training.
  • Prior background investigations experience supporting government contracts.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Current Top Secret clearance

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is typically based in the investigator’s home office as well as in the investigator’s personal vehicle traveling to various field locations to conduct interviews. Coverage area varies and could include some extended drives. Work hours vary depending on availability of leads and do not always fall within normal business hours, to include potential weekend hours or third-shift appointments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires intermittent standing, writing/typing, walking, sitting, and driving throughout the workday, and may include for multiple hours.
