Training Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with current and prospective customers to identify training needs, match needs with resources and available schedules, and manage the post-sale process to ensure customer satisfaction and total process adherence.  Customers include military (U.S. and non-U.S.), law enforcement, commercial groups, private individuals, and others. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the entire process that includes providing information to prospects, including pricing and availability, and assuring that lodging, dining, and facilities needs are met.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule training by using the POLARIS scheduling system to ensure efficient and productive use of system
  • Work with clients regarding training needs to align needs with training center schedules, capabilities, instructor capabilities, etc.
  • Capture customers’ requirements and develop training solutions to meet those requirements by communicating and consulting with customers and prospects on topics such as weaponry, ranges and sites needed, instructors’ availability, trainees’ eligibility, assembling and transmitting information packets that include costs and training options, etc.
  • Consult with potential prospects to describe training resources as well as products and pricing in an effort to maximize customers’ training experience and fulfill customer needs
  • Coordinate with departments outside of Training (such as Pricing, Contracts, etc.) to support conformity to each customer’s training requirements, to confirm pricing through existing contracts where applicable, and to coordinate the billing process
  • Handle special scheduling needs, such as requests for specific ranges or instructors, and suggest alternatives
  • Manage post-sale communication, check for enrollment changes, adds, deletes etc., in an effort to coordinate instructor needs and ratios, and to ensure trainee eligibility
  • May train schedulers to use systems, gain familiarity with ISC processes, etc.
  • May participate in sales roles at trade shows, conferences, and other venues
  • Perform all functions in a highly regulated environment in compliance with government regulations and internal company policies
  • Additional duties and responsibilities include greeting visitors and receiving phone calls, ad hoc office management tasks, maintain calendars for appointments, sort mail, make copies, and expense reporting actions
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three or more years of sales, marketing, and customer service experience, typically acquired in U.S. military or law enforcement communities 
  • Must have knowledge of firearms and training
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office required
  • Expert knowledge of applicable government regulations and internal company policies in a highly regulated environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 25 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools.

Transportation Driver

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Driver will transport personnel and visitors in Company vehicles. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently with constant awareness of road conditions, particularly in poor weather and heavy traffic
  • Avoid passenger-jarring maneuvers, such as sudden stops and turns, and potential accident-causing situations
  • Follow specific regularly scheduled routes, charter routes or responds to requests from dispatch or management for unscheduled pickups or drop-offs
  • Assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicles
  • Load and unload luggage, packages and other items
  • Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch of potential problems
  • Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch
  • Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, and vehicle damage prior to moving vehicle
  • Ensure inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis
  • Keep interior of vehicle neat and orderly
  • Monitor vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage to the service writer
  • Learn and provide guests and passengers with appropriate information regarding lodging, entertainment and attractions within service area
  • Learn and remember locations of various destination points serviced by the fleet including lodging, entertainment and attraction sites 
  • Treat all guests, customers, and other persons in a courteous, friendly and professional manner
  • Communicate by two-way radio and telephone
  • Assist with the pick-up and delivery of packages as needed
  • Assist with cleaning and staging of vehicles as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record for the last three years
  • Must maintain a good driving record
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion. 
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process. 
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • CDL preferred

Director, Business Development & Capture

Location: Virtual

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Business Development and Capture and working with business unit operations leadership, the Director is responsible for developing and executing win strategies for pursuits in the Integrated Services business unit. The Integrated Services business unit includes operations and maintenance, base operations support, vehicle fleet maintenance and construction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements effective win strategies and capture plans to profitably grow new business and retain existing business
  • Identifies and qualifies new business and maintains a pipeline aligned with the annual operating plan
  • Moves assigned opportunities through the business development lifecycle
  • Prepares and implements effective customer call plans
  • Builds capture teams and assigns capture responsibilities across the company in coordination with functional area leads (Contracts, Pricing, Finance, HR, etc.)
  • Prepares detailed competitor analyses
  • Identifies qualified teaming partners
  • Develops estimating and pricing strategies
  • Translates capture strategy, win themes, customer hot buttons, discriminator/differentiators, and ghosting techniques throughout the proposal
  • Coordinates development and implementation of communications/marketing campaigns supporting capture efforts
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by upper management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-10 years capture management experience, with a proven record of winning prime US federal government O&M, BOS, fleet and/or construction contracts
  • Relevant previous P&L responsibility strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with estimating strategies and tools, such as RS Means, CBRE CostLab, etc.
  • Familiarity with capture tools (GovWin IQ, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Security clearance eligible
