RESTON, Va. (February 28, 2016)—Constellis, a leading provider of operational support and risk management services, announced today that Triple Canopy (a Constellis company) has been awarded a U.S. Department of State (DoS) contract to provide worldwide protective services to augment the agency’s security programs in certain areas of the world.
The State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security utilizes specially trained Triple Canopy employees to assist in the protection of personnel, facilities and information domestically and abroad. The Department also uses these Triple Canopy employees to pre-plan, organize, establish, deploy and operate protective service details for the protection of U.S. and, if required, certain foreign government high-level officials whenever the need arises.
“Constellis’ operating companies have proudly served the U.S. government for more than a decade providing best-in-class security services both at home and abroad,” said Jason DeYonker, CEO of Constellis. “We look forward to continuing to support DoS’ security programs under this important contract and helping to achieve its diplomatic missions across the globe.”
The contract was awarded on February 12, 2016. The terms of the contract allow the State Department to order the services it requires on a task order basis.
