Training Instructor (TI) (G) | WPSIII

 

 THIS POSITION IS DEPLOYABLE TO QATAR – contingent on contract award

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct training for WPS III personnel.
  • Coordinate and conduct refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for WPS III personnel.
  • A bio-approved TI is authorized to fill the position/labor category of Guard as required and with the approval of the COR.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess a minimum of (2) years’ experience as an instructor in a security field.
  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a FTE firearms instructor; this experience must have been earned as part of other federal, state, or local government training assignments.
  • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in guard force or emergency response assignments.
  1. A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory or in-charge capacity.
  2. A minimum of six (6) months of this experience must have been in protective security under WPS III or any of its predecessor contracts.
  • Obtain and maintain Personnel Security Clearance as specified in the Task Order

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable Task Order.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Must qualify with the Glock-19, M4 or MK18 as specified by the designated TO, M240, and M249, re-qualifying as required in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 2, Training.
  • Complete the WPS III Physical Readiness Test, per WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 15, Physical Readiness Test Protocols and Standards, at the sixty-five (65) percent performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the Task Order

Guard Force Commander (GFC) | WPSIII

THIS POSITION IS DEPLOYABLE TO QATAR – contingent on contract award

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Manage and direct guard operations on a daily basis under direction from DS/RSO.
  • Plan, manage, and evaluate guard force operations.
  • Ensure that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all post and general orders.

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  •  Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a military officer or noncommissioned officer (NCO) (at E-6 or above or equivalent), or equivalent law enforcement/armed commercial guard force supervisory experience.
  • Experience must include physical security, access control, and force protection
  • Experience may be gained in the employ of any federal, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed guard services
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. This requirement may be substituted by an additional four (4) years of experience in addition to that required above.
  • Must attend and successfully complete a supervisory course

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Must attend and successfully complete required training
  • Qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M240, M249, and requalifying as required by the task order (TO)
  • Complete the Physical Readiness Test (PRT) at the 65% performance level and maintain that fitness level for the duration of the contract
  • Must possess no impediments to travel overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order
  • As required by the Client, applicants will need to show proof of full vaccination status, defined as vaccinated two weeks after receiving the requisite number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved or authorized for emergency use by the FDA
