RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide security for various buildings by conducting perimeter security, internal security, monitoring screens, etc.
Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors
Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors
Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols
Traffic control as necessary
Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies
Secure entrances and exits during emergencies
Control keys and lock combinations
Communicate and remain accessible via two-way radio or company issued cellular phone
Understand and comply with all requirements, plans, policies, procedures.
Observe and report all offenses/incidents
Complete all reports and paperwork as required
Provide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary.
Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with company guidance.
Maintain physical fitness, agility requirements, and weapons qualifications.
Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Regular, in-person attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Social Security Card
Possess at least one of the following experience/education criteria:

Minimum three (3) years unarmed security experience
Minimum one (1) years armed security experience
Minimum two (2) years in the U.S. Armed Services (including reserve or national guard),
Any combination of two (2) years’ experience in physical security and service with the U.S. Armed Services
Associates Degree in Security or Law Enforcement related field with unarmed security experience

Possessed BSIS Guard Card
CPR/AED/1st Aid Certification
Excellent written, verbal communication, and reporting writing skills in English
Training skills to develop personnel, understand and perpetuate succession planning (Mentoring) and demonstrate leadership
Ability to counsel and discipline in effective manner in both negative and positive situations
Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in personnel and communicate corrective solutions
Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times and command presence to convey authority in security situations
Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately
Ability to manage multiple Security Officers on various posts with 24/7 coverage
Computer proficient to include in Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel) and E-mail
Must be able to pass contract required training and obtain all required certifications
Must be in good standing with the company with excellent record of performance and attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must meet all medical, physical, psychological and drug test standards as outlined in the contract. Some travel required. Mileage reimbursed for travel to areas outside of the scope of normal commute standards as dictated in contract’s Statement of Work. Position requires sitting for long periods of time and continuous computer use. Must be able to use hands and wrists for typing and computer usage for long periods of time. Some activities may involve standing for long periods of time. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, twisting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

WORKING CONDITIONS

May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather. Subject to high noise levels. Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Security Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as a First line supervisor monitoring and directing staff as necessary and perform administrative tasks including timekeeping, and report tracking. Provides close first line supervision of personnel/security officers assigned to their respective shifts, functions, and facilities. In case of after-hours emergency situations, the Supervisor on duty responds and take initial command until higher authority arrives. They are empowered with the authority necessary to handle emergency events. Under no circumstances will Supervisors perform officer duties while working in a supervisory capacity.

PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION

Base Rate $70,000/year

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take immediate action to correct deficiencies and solve problems,
Identify and resolve day-to-day staffing shortages caused by call offs,
Ensure breaks and relief are provided,
Provide verbal counseling and initiate written disciplinary actions as necessary,
Provide direct oversight and close supervision of the security officers assigned to their respective areas, functions and facilities
Setting an example for subordinates in the areas of appearance, work habits, skill and attitude.
Ensure that regulations and post orders are followed.
Perform appraisal and analysis of work accomplishments for subordinates.
Review all reports for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure officers follow all work rules, maintain and display good discipline, and present a professional appearance by conducting random, unannounced personnel and post inspections
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFATIONS

3 years of full-time law enforcement experience while employed by a United States federal, state, city or municipality law enforcement entity, or the United States Military, or; 3 years of non-administrative United States military active duty.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States or Lawful Permanent Resident who is currently a member of, or who possesses a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component the United States Armed Forces.
Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must have a Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individuals name and social security number.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions with long periods of sitting, standing or walking. Extended hours to include nights, weekends and holidays may be required. May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, often without breaks, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk-up inclines and on uneven terrain. POSITION SUMMARY

Staff armed security posts and provide security for the personnel and property of, and visitors to, assigned US Government Property.

Part time positions available

RESPONSIBILITIES

Have authority to act for the Contractor on a day-to-day basis at worksites
Ensure that officers are in proper uniform prior to performing officer duties on contract
Perform supervisory post observation of officers on duty
Conduct on-the-spot checks for officer posts
Interface with employees and the public in the resolution of problems
Maintain and operate the electronic security management system, and train subordinates to operate the system when required
Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols
Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies
Secure entrances and exits during emergencies
Control keys and lock combinations
Communicate and remain accessible via two-way radio or company issued cellular phone
Understand and comply with all requirements defined within company documents to include Post and General Orders, plans, policies, and procedures
Observe and report all offenses/incidents
Provide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary
Must be able to wear protective body armor as a part of the duty uniform
Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with company guidance
Maintain physical fitness, agility requirements, and weapons qualifications
Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices
Support safety programs and participate in Quality and Process Improvement programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Regular, in-person attendance is required

QUALIFICATIONS

Armed experience only
Must possess a BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with .9mm caliber prior to an interview
Must be 21 years or older
A US citizen with a social security card
3 years of Armed security experience within the past five years; [OR]

An associate degree in a related field and at least one year of ARMED experience; [OR]
3 years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience; [OR]
Successful completion of a state certified Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST) course; [OR]
Any reasonable combination of the above within last 5 years and reasonable combination of experience, school, military, or training (equivalent to 3 years)

Must possess a valid, unrestricted automobile driver’s license
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English
Must be capable of passing a background check, medical and psychological evaluation, Form 306, and weapons qualification
Must be willing to attend our (paid) 7-week training course
Prefer familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
