Unarmed Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

Security Officers provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control.

 

$23.00 an hour

 

Nights (2200-0600, Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 40 hours)

Second shift (1400-2200, Tuesdays through Fridays, 32 hours)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
  • Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
  • Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain
  • Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Must have a current Secret Clearance or Higher
  • Must have a current guard card
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
  • Successfully to pass an employment physical
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
  • Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
  • Be fully computer literate with computer hardware
  • Communicate effectively

Dispatcher/Alarm Monitor

Rate of Pay: $28.78/hr plus additional $4.41/hr in Health and Welfare 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Monitor FPS and radio traffic while coordinating the appropriate responses to emergency and non-emergency situations performing duties such as:

      • Communicating audio messages via radio and telephone
      • Coordinating law enforcement and public safety personnel activities
      • Transferring public safety information
      • Answering questions and updating client records

o Think and act quickly, calmly, and accurately in emergency situations and under stressful circumstances.

o Log all calls in database including required details of each call

o Keep additional detailed logs to maintain accurate records of alarm use, ensure officer safety, and allow for precise and efficient communications among coworkers

o Operate multi-channel radio and telephone dispatch equipment

o Access Federal, State, and local databases and maintain compliance regulations and procedures

o Assist with quality review of events created by fellow dispatchers

o Monitor alarms received and keep records based on unique accounts

o Proficiently perform administrative tasks on desktop computer and notify management of any technological issues

o Monitor in-house closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras

o Perform dispatching duties for other locations in the event of a failure

o Assist in the training of dispatcher trainees

o Routinely test alarms, communication systems, and other devices

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizenship Required
  • Candidates will be required to undergo a background check
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work under stress and to respond to emergency communications.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a 911 dispatcher or similar function in an emergency call center.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Be able to handle filing and other administrative duties.
  • Knowledge of a 24-hour emergency communication center including familiarity with public safety functions and concerns and of the public safety communication’s environment, demands, requirements and related laws, regulations and systems.
  • Computer Skills — Utilizes a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet and related software with reasonable speed and accuracy.

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Staff Unarmed Security posts and provide security for the personnel and property of, and visitors to, assigned US Government Property. May also work in a Control Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Regular, in-person attendance is required

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • A US citizen with a social security card
  • 3 years of security experience within the past five years; [OR]
  • An associate degree in a related field and at least one year of security experience; [OR]
  • 3 years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience; [OR]
  • Successful completion of a state certified Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST) course; [OR]
  • Any reasonable combination of the above within last 5 years and reasonable combination of experience, school, military, or training (equivalent to 3 years)
  • Must possess, or able to obtain, a state firearm permit and guard card
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted automobile driver’s license
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English
  • Must be capable of passing a background check, medical and psychological evaluation, drug test, and weapons qualification

Unarmed Security -TS with Full Scope Poly

POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking Unarmed Security Guards to support the 24/7 operations of multiple customer facilities located in Aurora Colorado area.  Various full-time and part-time shifts are available for enthusiastic individuals who currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope polygraph security clearance and are looking to become part of an expanding team within a large organization that can offer career growth potential.  

 

PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION (Only for CA, CO, NY, WA)

 

$45.00/hr.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, report writing, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have the required TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance that is current and can be verified
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Minimum of 18 years of age;
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Possess good writing skills and ability to make decisions quickly and accurately
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task with little assistance

NCIC Terminal Agency Coordinator

Position Description:

 

NCIC Coordinator support shall be provided to the Government to specifically ensure departmental compliance with NCIC and International Justice and Public Safety Network policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Initiate and receive correspondence concerning NCIC/NLETS;
    • System Issues
    • Testing Issues
    • Coordinate issuance of passwords and user identification (User IDs)
    • Password Resets
    •  New/Updated processes or procedures
  • Ensure CJIS Security Policies are met.
  • Ensure terminal operators are certified in accordance with NCIC/NLETS policies within six months of assigned duties and recertified biennially thereafter.
  • Ensure all in-house trainers are certified in accordance with NCIC/NLETS policies and procedures and they renew their certification biennially thereafter.
  • Ensure terminal operators have completed annual Computer Security Awareness Training.
  • Maintain an accurate list of individuals that are currently certified and have access as well as users that have been removed from the system and no longer require access.
  • Ensure compliance with established JUST/NCIC regulations and user cooperation with JUST/NCIC mail-in and on-site audits of terminal locations.
  • Conduct investigations relating to the use/misuse of the system, including misuse of criminal history information when required.
  • Annually validate user justification for NCIC/NLETS access and terminate those user accounts that no longer have justification.
  • Annually validate ORI’s to ensure the information contained in each NCIC ORI record and NLETS ORION File record is accurate.
  • Ensure hit confirmation requests are acted upon within the appropriate time constraints per the NCIC 2000 Operating Manual, Introduction, and Section 3.5.
  • Track GSA fleet leased vehicles and license plates when they are reported missing, lost or stolen.
  • Track Operation Reduced Risk incidents.
  • Assist in ensuring that the validations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all records entered NCIC are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure that each terminal site has current issues of the following publications: NCIC 2000 Operating Manual, the NCIC 2000 Code Manual, the NLETS Users Guide, the CJIS Security Policy, the DOJ 2640.F Information Technology Security, and the JUST Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure that the agency’s terminals are placed in a secure location that prohibits unauthorized use or viewing.
  • Ensure that the JUST Program is notified in writing prior to moving the physical location of any terminal.
  • Provide a monthly report on all service work accomplished during the previous month by the 5th workday of the month following the performance of the work

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence and education institutions.

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 year within the last five (5) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
  • Must have some mix of NBIB/DCSA/FIS Experience;
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
  • Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
  • Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;

  • Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned.
  • Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more) as needed
  • Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Adapt to changing situations and environments as they occur and be able to interact with people from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Work load based on availability of cases in geographic area.

Armed Security Officer-CO- West/South

Compensation: $21.25/hr

 

Position Overview: 

In accordance with DHS protocols, the armed guard force is concerned with all matters relating to the security of the command, which include providing security and safety for personnel, property, facilities, and assets, entry control point services to ensure unauthorized personnel, property, equipment, vessels or vehicles are deterred and denied facility ingress and egress as well as safeguarding the facility against sabotage or any other incident that might jeopardize the normal operation of the command, such as theft, robbery, riot, lawlessness, demonstrations, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide security protection and access control.
  • Provide security protection for all government property, classified material and personnel within assigned areas of responsibility to preclude unauthorized access, theft, or intentional destruction.
  • Report/respond to unusual or emergency situations.
  • Be alert for potential security, property or safety concerns and initiate the appropriate actions.
  • Control ingress/egress into and/or out of posted/controlled/security areas.
  • Prevent/report all violations of security and safety rules and regulations.
  • Respond to protective alarm signals or other unusual/suspicious activities.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all security and guard orders, written and oral, pertaining to the assigned duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States or Lawful Permanent Resident who is currently a member of, or who possesses a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component the United States Armed Forces. Ability to pass a NRA firearms qualification course.
  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must have a Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individuals name and social security number.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of security (armed), or one (1) year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service police department in a municipality, state, or federal enforcement department within the US, and have resigned or retired in good standing; or
  • A minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any US Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard) Component.
  • Firearms training and firearms qualifications, and company certifications meet state/federal certifications.
  • Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
  • Familiarity with securing facilities and/or vehicles at a fixed location.
  • Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post.
  • High School education or GED equivalent.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy work: Exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, machines such as fire equipment and apparatuses, firearms and clearing barrels.

Unarmed Security Guard

Constellis is currently seeking Unarmed Security Guards to support the 24/7 operations of multiple customer facilities located in the Aurora, CO area.  Various full-time shifts are available for enthusiastic individuals who currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with Lifestyle Polygraph and are looking to become part of an expanding team within a large organization that can offer career growth potential. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, report writing, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • Minimum of 18 years of age;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
  • Possess good writing skills and ability to make decisions quickly and accurately;
  • Ability to function in a fast pace environment and able to multi task with little assistance;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and able to interpret documents to ensure all rules and procedures are being applied;
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
  • Ability to maintain telephone rapport with customers at all levels;
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner;
  • Ability to apply reasoning skills and document them oral, written, and/or diagram form;
  • Ability to solve problems until completion;
  • Ability to work in a MS Windows based operating environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving record checks.
  • Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid/AED.
  • Ability to assist customers on a wide range of topics to include interoperability, reciprocity, office policies, office procedures, clearance issues, and other items as required.
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Current Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Must be approved by the client to work at the site.
